We stayed for 6 nights 5 days. Had 3 rooms. 609 was ours. First of all let me mention the names of a few amazing people. Lisi our housekeeper made sure our apartment was kept up everyday that we were here. She even remembered that we needed extra hand/face cloths and dropped them off to us. Anything extra that we needed, she was sure to supply it. Toh at the front check in made sure everything was ready for us as soon as we arrived. When we’d go through the reception area, she always greeted us by our names. That’s amazing. Apartment was a 1 bedroom. Spacious enough to entertain 6 adults. Secured building as well. We had a nice view of the harbour and could see cruise ships as they were docking and sailing away. Kitchen facilities was a plus. We would buy our ingredients at the supermarket and Suva Market. Then we’d cook. Washer and dryer was a bonus. Location was central and within walking distance to everything. Note: we were unfamiliar with how the cooktop worked as there are no instructions anywhere. We called the front desk 2 times and was told someone would come up to help us both times. No one showed up after waiting 45 minutes. I ended up going to the front desk and spoke with Toh. She tried to reach someone through their messenger and couldn’t. Therefore, she had to get up from her desk and after about 2 minutes she said someone would be coming to our room to help us. Finally, after an hour after the initial call, La (whose the head maintenance person) came to our room not looking happy. She came in and did some fiddling around and pulled a filter out. Looked at us like we were incompetent. However, the cooktop still didn’t work. She noticed a bulb was out and left the room. Came back with a bulb and it worked. After that she gave us a smirk like our family was being whiny. The whole time she was there (about 10 minutes) she had no facial expression and didn’t say a word. It was uncomfortable. That 10 minutes took a star away.
