花園平房度假村(Garden Bungalows Resort)

This review is based on multiple stays in 2021 and 2022. It's a really small place, tucked away in the forest on a dirt road, but still only 10 minutes drive to Siquijor town or San Juan (which is good because they don't do dinner, only breakfast). The rooms are basic but big and clean with comfy beds. Mobile signal is very weak but the wifi mostly works. But the owners Renee and Jennifer and their friendly and helpful staff are the resort's best feature. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is freshly made to order with generous portions, and the gardens and pool are wonderful. You'll probably find the owner's 4 rescue dogs sitting next to you with wistful expressions while you eat breakfast. By my third visit they had progressed to resting their heads on my knee and gazing up at me in the hope of some egg or bacon, but they're very well behaved and we always look forward to seeing them. I always leave more relaxed than when I arrived.

Este pequeño resort está decorado con mucho gusto y la zona del jardín y la piscina es espectacular. Las habitaciones son grandes y tienen todo lo necesario para que te sientas como en casa. Muy limpia, con aire acondicionado y wifi que va realmente bien (esto no es fácil en Filipinas). Además el desayuno y la cena del hotel nos parecieron buenísimos! Nos ayudaron a organizar nuestros días en la isla, nos dieron un listado de restaurantes para comer, nos ayudaron a comprar el ticket del ferry... Nos cuidaron tan bien que nos dio pena despedirnos de ellos el último día! Estuvimos alojados 3 noches y creemos que fue todo un acierto. El hotel se encuentra en una zona muy tranquila de la isla, alejado de la zona turística. Es ideal para desconectar y relaj****. Sin duda repetiríamos este alojamiento!

Bungalow , garden and swimmingpool were fine. The freshly baked bread, yoghurt with granola and the coffee from the Swiss Jura coffeemachine were nice. the location was desolate and far away from the main road. But… the owner is very very grumpy

Modern, spacious rooms, very clean and well-kept in an idyllic garden area with a pool. quiet and yet centrally located. The owner couple and their team are super friendly and courteous and support in all matters. thank you for the relaxing stay with you.
