奇塔公寓(Cheata Residence)

市街地から離れていますが、部屋の広さは十分です。 池が横にあるので小さな虫が入ってきます。 バスタブもあり、熱いお湯も出るので、アンコールワットを歩いた後の疲れはしっかり取れました。 屋上からの展望が良く日の出、日の入りがキレイに見れました。 空港から送迎無料とありましたが、新空港に替わりタクシー代が必要です。(片道 45ドル) 市街地まで、5ドル(5人で)掛かります。

The first night I was put in a room with an air conditioner that was running but never cooled. The next room had a family of very loud people that went most of the night. The staff is friendly and attentive, but obtrusive. I was moved to another room which had excellent air conditioning and was comfortable. I have lived extensively in SE Asia and am familiar with the culture. However, always being asked,”Where are you going,” or “What are you doing?” Made me feel very uncomfortable. Simply tell guests that if they need anything or have any questions to please ask, instead of feeling interrogated each time I walked in and out of the hotel. The girl that served in the dining room had a warm smile and was very kind and she always tried to serve well and did great. The days she was off, it was an uncomfortable awkward experience just trying to have a simple breakfast. Just trying to get salt or getting condiments so that I could eat my food while it was hot, was almost impossible. As an exercise swimmer, the pool was very unclear at first. I asked if it could be cleaned and their was resistance to do so. Eventually it was cleaned and later it was much better. I booked my room for two and my girlfriend was only able to be with me part of the time. One evening when I walked into reception with her, the guy was rude and disrespectful and interrogating us both. It was a very uncomfortable and unacceptable situation. I had booked it for two weeks. Two days before I left, one evening, there was a rat running on the soffit near the ceiling. I didn’t complain about it because my stay was nearly finished and I don’t know what they would even try to do to remedy the situation. The balconies are nice and overall it was quiet and peaceful.

場所はメインストリートから少し離れた所にありますが、トゥクトゥクで2ドルでパブストリートまで行けるし、長距離バス乗り場まで近いのでこちらにしました。プールもありとてもゆっくり出来ます。また、アンコールワットのチケット売り場までも近いのでとても便利です。

The room is nice but the location is a bit from the city

糟糕的客戶服務。

Vorne weg, wer gerne mitten im Geschehen ist und den Rummel sucht ist hier falsch aufgehoben. Wer gerne eine ruhige, familiäre Unterkunft sucht ist hier genau richtig. Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits der City, mit dem TukTuk sind es ca 5 min, in einer ruhigen Lage. Es ist mit 18 Zimmer auch eher klein, bietet aber alle Annehmlichkeiten. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber, Dusche mit Regendusche ist vorhanden, und wer will kann eine Badewanne nutzen. Wir hatten Übernachtung mit Frühstück gebucht. Das Hotel bietet auch Lunch und Dinner an, was wir allerdings nicht genutzt haben. Frühstück wird a La carte angeboten. Es gibt 5 "westliche" Optionen ( z.B. pancakes, Müsli, english Breakfast) und 5 asiatische. Dazu sagen sollte man, dass jeder der gerne sehr ausgiebig frühstücken möchte vermutlich etwas enttäuscht wird. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, wird schön präsentiert, man wird satt, aber zum Bauch vollschlagen ist es nicht geeignet. Die Mitarbeiter sind allesamt sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Am letzten Abend haben wir auch die Besitzerin kennengelernt, die auch mehr als liebenswürdig war. Zuletzt haben wir auch noch das Spa besucht. Für uns wurde extra ein Termin am Vormittag möglich gemacht (normalweise ist es vormittags geschlossen). Die Massage war Klasse, die Preise mehr als fair (18$ für eine Stunde Massage) und alles professionell. Also auch das können wir sehr empfehlen. Zuletzt ein allgemeiner Hinweis, wechselt kein Geld in die einheimische Währung - wirklich überall kann man wunderbar mit USD bezahlen.

Stay 4 nights at this wonderful hotel. Nice quiet spot a little bit off the main road. If you are looking for a place to escape the noise of Pub Street, this is a winner. Rooms are big and clean. Didn't use the pool on this trip, but it looks like a great time to spend the day. Staff are friendly and always ready to assist.
