生命宮殿遺產酒店(Heritage Hotel Life Palace)

A really comfortable stay in this historically important building. The surrounding areas are so beautiful and you just want wonder around the city. Nice restaurants and cafes around, easy to reach all the important tourist sites and the beach too. Calm hotel, a varied breakfast and beautiful rooms.

The hotel is in a well-renovated building, everything was fine and the location optimal in the old town and close to everything. Unfortunately, breakfast was total chaos when their chef called in sick and the hotel clearly didn't have a contingency plan, as we had to catch our bus we had to go without our already paid breakfast. The hotel should make a contingency plan so that everyone knows exactly what to do so that the customers are not affected.

Very comfortable and in a great location in the mddle of the old town shops and restaurant. Our room was comfortable but the bass and beat from the music from the restaurant below our room 103 resonated until nearly midnight. Also the breakfast buffet is in an area that on a hot day gets very hot and therefore if you are later for breakfast it looks a bit unpalatable. Shame because the hotel and staff are lovely.

A wonderful boutique Renaissance hotel, but didn't feel at all aloof or pretentious. The welcome by the manager and very helpful receptionist was so genuinely friendly and we were offered much appreciated, complimentary welcome drinks. We booked 2 nights in a superior double room. Breakfast was a delicious buffet spread, choices of fruits, nuts, meats and scrambled eggs, bacon etc which you could eat outside on the terrace or inside. The staff are the jewel in the crown though, with a special shout out to Martina, for genuine charm and friendliness and going the extra mile in being so helpful. In fact all the staff should have 11 out of 10! In common with all the central hotels there is obviously no hotel car park, we parked a stones through away along the waterfront promenade, adjacent to the Cathedral steps, It was high season and €2 an hour but free between 11pm and 7pm.

Un petit hôtel bien placé dans la vieille ville, un beau potentiel malheureusement mal exploité. L’absence d’un parking pourrait être excusé, mais l’obligation de stationner dans un parking public à 1€30 l’heure n’est pas digne d’un hôtel 4*. Si l’on rajoute la nécessité de trimbaler ses valises sur les pavés des ruelles pour rejoindre l’hôtel là cela devient regrettable. Concernant l’hôtel, il est évident que la jeune équipe est pleine de bonne volonté mais manque de professionnalisme, la réception n’est pas celle d’un 4*, la chambre est petite, sans rangement suffisant, la moquette est usagée et tachée, le jacuzzi est froid, d’une propreté douteuse. Bref ce n’est pas un établissement 4*, il mérite à peine 3*.

Amazing stay at this charming hotel in the heart of town, great location! A big shout out to Marina who greeted us at reception… she went above and beyond and was so professional and her service was exceptional. Can’t wait to be back!

This hotel was right in the middle of town, and so adorable! If you have a lot of luggage, it can be hard to get the luggage to the hotel but well worth it. The staff was friendly, the hotel was cute and the breakfast was delicious.

Hôtel très bien situé, au coeur de la vieille ville. Aucune nuisance sonore néanmoins. Possibilité de se garer dans un parking public à 5 min à pied. De l'extérieur, le bâtiment est très beau, en vieilles pierres. A l'intérieur, la décoration est de style "vénitien", un peu vieillotte mais en bon état. La chambre standard est de bonne taille, la salle de bain sans aucun charme. Petit déjeuner très décevant qui est pris soit en intérieur, soit sur une terrasse à l'ombre d'immenses parasols qui ne laissent passer aucune lumière et au son d'une musique agressive et trop forte. Un personnel pas très sympathique. Au final, l'hôtel est correct mais pas à la hauteur d'un 4 étoiles.

This hotel is in an historic building and has that unique, walled city character. Unfortunately the furnishings and plumbing do need some serious updating, walls need painting, and access for customers arriving by automobile needs to be arranged with parking lots within short walking distances.
