普拉塔港參議員温泉度假村(Senator Puerto Plata)

El cariño de todo el personal y el excelente trato hace que la estancia en Senator Puerto Plata sea mágica. Muchas gracias.

Dommage que l'eau des robinets ne soit pas potable, on doit se priver de beaucoup d'aliments qui ont été lavés avec cette eau ainsi que de boissons. Une représentante nous a fait visiter le côté VIP et il n'y avait pas d'indication de ne pas boire d'eau dans les chambres de bain des suites luxueuses ,elle est donc potable à quelques centaines de pieds de l'hôtel, elle est donc traitée. Même si j'ai fais très attention, j'ai été malade , c,est un mauvais souvenir de mes vacances

When we 1st checked in, the iron was not working (not that big of a deal) and the shower began to overflow out into the bedroom (big deal). The phone to call the front desk was not working so the boyfriend had to walk to the front desk to notify them of the overflowing bathroom. We were transferred to an older room further away. The second room had that old musty smell and the ac was not working. For this inconvenience, we should have been upgraded. The only positive review I can give for this resort is the good tasting food provided and the massage I received. I was disappointed with the room situation and feel the resort did not live up to its 4 star review rating. Would not return here or recommend this resort.

We didn't enjoyed our stay this time. The electricity when off at 2:am on 1st January 2024 ans lasted more than 12 hours. Water went also off for almost the same tiem or more. We end up taking a shower with the bottles of water (less that 20 OZ. We went there to enjoy all king of music during New Year CElebration Party but they only played Techno and Ultra music, not even one song in Spanish like Merengue o Bachata.

Stayed at imperial suit and didnt even had a desk or chair for computer .. there is no one welcoming you or helping to get luggage out of the car. The bathroom smell bad and then it spread to the room. The food is always the same at the buffet and very limited options. Ice cream shop smell bad.. pizza restaurant has limited options. coffee shop very limited with almost no pastry. Compare to any other hotel at punta Cana this would rate 1. Very disappointed. And they say is a 5 star . Not sure how..

Overall, I’d say I had a pretty good experience at the Senator Resort. I would say that the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The first night I was there there was a chemical like odor in my room, I guess from the cleaning products, but I knew I would not be able to stay in there. When I bought the issue up to customer service, they immediately put me in another room – a nicer room might I add, definitely an upgrade. There was a lot of entertainment the staff hosted games and activities for the guests. I went during the Christmas holidays so they turned it up a notch and the dinner display for Christmas was incredible. There are a lot of shops at the resort for personal items, souvenirs,etc. Everything that you need it was right there at the resort. They had multiple pools on site as well as it was a beachfront property. I would say my main complaint was the food. The taste was mediocre, and they served the same food every day, with the exception of Christmas Eve and Christmas day, where they put out an elaborate spread. On a couple of occasions, I saw hair in the food dirty dishes and lots of flies! The pizza taste like cardboard and the steakhouse was very disappointing. However, the hibachi restaurant was a hit! The food there was delicious.

I found the stay very good with the sea view apartment which we were booked in. We woke up to some lovely views including the ships that come in and out every other day. The food is hit and miss in the main restaurant and is more or less the same stuff every day apart from special occasions. I would definitely recommend booking the A lar Carte restaurants. We found the food and service in the 3 restaurants perfect.

Hotel Senator...relacion precio calidad tiene las dos comparado con otros hoteles de mucho mayor precio por lo tanto lo recomiendo muy buena calidad a muy buen precio..Buena comida tanto en el buffet como en los restaurantes ...el Sports bar tiene comida las 24 horas.... Este hotel tiene un sin fin de atracciones turisticas ..muy cerca de la propiedad . Diving...27 charcos de Damajagua Cayo Arena...etc ..Estuvimos 15 dias en noviembre y ya van tres anhos consecutivos..y volveremos. This facility is old and needs updating and the food was cold /. They had power outage frequently and we couldn’t flush toilets when light was off overall was a terrible experience we would never ever visit this resort again it could not get any worst as our vacation was totally ruined.
