埃託沙默帕內鄉村小屋(Mopane Village Lodge Etosha)

Im Vergleich recht einfache Lodge mit kargen Zimmern. Wir waren im August 2023 auf unserer Reise durch das südliche Afrika zwei Nächte hier. Vor allem der Sundowner auf der erhöhten Terrasse wird und in bester Erinnerung bleiben. Nicht so schön waren die Abendessen offenbar direkt neben einer Kläranlage mit entsprechender Geruchsbelästigung. Zudem ließ das Vegi-Angebot doch sehr zu Wünschen übrig und beschränkte sich auf die Beilagen. Das Frühstück hingegen war gut.

Sehr funktionale Bungalow s ergänzt um ein Restaurant ist eine Lösung für Übernachten Nähe Anderson Gate Etosha Nationalpark. Das Essen ist für fleischliebhaber sehr gut. Getränke sind an der Bar erhältlich. Mann braucht aber ein Fahrzeug um zum Etosha Park zu kommen

L'endroit manque de charme. La "tented camp" était très bien et jolie. Une très belle salle de bain. Bémol, en hiver c'est très froid...il est impossible de fermer la toile dans la salle de bain, ce qui garderait légèrement la chaleur. C'est un endroit pour dormir (hors la période d'hiver). Accueil très froid de la part de la réception. Nous avons pris le souper qui était ordinaire. Heureusement que nous avons rencontré Kosmos (ou Cosmos) un barman très gentil.

Le Mopane Village est écolo, resté dans son jus des années 2000. Faute de soleil... pas d'eau chaude le matin. Wifi réduit à l'accueil et les chambres sont à 500 mètre au bout d'un chemin caillouteux mal éclairé. Chambre sommaire, pas de lampe de bureau ou de prises, cause énergie solaire. Repas sympa dans un espace chaleureux.

nous sommes arrivés au lodge et juste à l'entrée, quelques antilopes koudou se promenaient. Dépaysement garanti. la nourriture est très bonne. Ils ont un chef cuistot. Nous avons pu goûter de l'oryx, du zèbre, du springbok... les chambres sont très confortables. Nous avions chacun un bungalow et un sifflet était accroché à la clé au cas ou on ferait une rencontre fortuite avec un animal. Le lodge se situe à 10 mn en voiture du parc Etosha. C'est le lodge que j'ai préféré de tout notre voyage. On s'y sent comme "à la maison".

We were very pleased to stay at Mopane Village. The Staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing!!! We honestly had a great stay at Mopane Village and would stay there again in the future. Thank you.

We were warmly welcomed, all staff was friendly. The individual rooms (tents) were clean and big. A negative point was that the attachment of the blinds covering the windows did not work. This resulted in some wind entering the room at night and (loud) noise. However, we liked the buffets and the surrounding.

Their hospitality is the beset. We enjoyed staying in the mopane village lodge. Safari tent was clean and convenient and place was very quiet. And lodge is not far from the etosha national park. Thank you for all staffs who supported us.

This tented accommodation provides an authentic African bush experience. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly, kind and knowledgeable, and the camp is in a prime location near to Etosha National Park. The tented rooms are large, comfortable and have an en suite bathroom. There is a pool for cooling off and an outdoor elevated viewing platform for evening drinks and watching the sun set. The meals are delicious, and the staff were friendly and meticulous in their care of us during our stay there. We loved it, thank you!
