奧格登希爾頓花園酒店(Hilton Garden Inn Ogden)

The room was in average condition. The carpet has seen better days and it was clean but I found a few hairs, not mine, in the pillow on the first night. The restaurant was good, I tried a couple of their dishes and they were great.

I need to start by saying the staff were excellent. When we walked into our room (206) it smelled a bit funny. On closer inspection the refrigerator had been switched off (likely because it was noisy) and the freezer began defrosting which caused a flood around and underneath the fridge. We returned to the front desk where our room was changed, for convenience sake, to the room across the hall (205). The new room was not flooded, and the view was of a metal wall in the courtyard. But no matter…we were only sleeping there. Clean, quiet and comfortable were our only requirements. When looking at the hotel map on the back of the door, there was no indication that our room was near any utility rooms, vending machines or other storage rooms. The elevator was supposedly two rooms away. However, all night long we were awoken by the noise of a compressor or similar. There was no sleep. The room was also very hot and the thermostat gave no indication that it was on or working. The window with a view of nothing didn’t open. After a night of no sleep, hot and cranky, I went down to the front desk to ask to be moved to yet another room. Room 247 was better than the first two rooms, but only marginally. At least I finally slept. I know this review makes me sound like I’m high maintenance but I assure you, dear reader, in my years of staying in hotels nearly every week of my adult life, I have never changed rooms twice in one stay. Such a shame, because the location was ideal!

This hotel is the worst! Parking is limited, you can hear cars racing by all night long, TV would not work and front desk said they could not fix until next day, THEN fire alarms went off at 5 am the next morning because of an incident outside. The sound was deafening and it went on for an hour so I grabbed my stuff and left. Horrible hotel - don’t waste your money!

The room wasn’t what I asked for. I even called the hotel after so booked to make sure I wasn’t getting an accessible room. I was assured I wasn’t. I did. The bed was terribly noisy and squeaked with even the slightest movement. Street noise was annoying and the the guests above me were up at 4:45am stomping around until 8. No sleep, no comfort- for the amount of money I paid for the room it was terrible.

Staff was excellent. However, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and there was a cockroach in our room.

Right in the heart of beautiful downtown Ogden, you can walk across the street to entertainment, sports, movies, dining, etc.

The hotel room was very dirty. The furniture and floors were filthy with stains. The couch still had crumbs on it from whoever was there last and when I pulled the sheets back on the bed there was a clump of hair in the bed. The walls in the bathroom were also very dirty and stained. The hotel receptionist was nice and offered a new room but we needed the space of the suite that we rented and it was the only one available. They offered new bedding and sheets to cover the furniture. The staff were definitely friendly and probably as accommodating as they could have been.

I asked for a quiet room instead, I got a very loud room facing the main road. Also, the restaurant was closed two hours early.

Staff was kind and courteous, loved them. The room we stayed in #204, was kinda dirty. I noticed dust and food crumbs between the bed and the wall. These should have been cleaned up by staff regularly but sadly, wasn't. Got up at 2:00 to hit the bathroom and flicked on the light only to see a German cockroach running around the floor desperately looking for a crack to go back into. They really need to get on top of that, those little roaches can overwhelm a property if they don't.
