博伊羅斯酒店(Hotel Boyeros)

Had a 2nd floor balcony room (206) x 2 nights. Pros outweighed the cons: very helpful, nice workers; strong shower water pressure; great mattresses; fabulously cool and quiet A/C; decent Wi-Fi; lovely natural grounds with birdsong amid exquisite sparkling pools; nice breakfast buffet included with room; Santa Rosa Plaza across the road with a fine grocery store and a great crepe cafe, among others. Cons: a lot of truck and car noise on highway as others have said; traffic congestion in Liberia during the main part of the day; and noise from people in the pool area late into the night. But I’d totally want to stay at Boyeros again - for the real Costa Rican experience - ear plugs not to be forgotten.

We always enjoy our stay at Boyeros. The service is excellent, the breakfast is delicious, and the rooms are clean. We especially like the swimming pools which are well maintained except for some missing tiles at the far end of the big pool.

Excelente hotel, en un lugar muy estratégico y central de Liberia, con buenas instalaciones y piscina. Para disfrutar en familia o en pareja.

Hôtel sur le bord de transamerican au premier regard on se dit bof . Mais quand on rentre c'est un oasis . Piscine magnifique , jacuzzi . Arbres qui regorgent de fruits ,même un énorme lézard . Les chambres donnent sur la piscine avec une agréable terrasse 'lit confirme. Restaurant . Petit déjeuner basique mais bon . Étape sympa

I stayed here twice during my trip 3 weeks apart and both times there was no hot water most of the time. The story was always "20minutes", then "an hour" then "around 6pm". The second time, the remote for the AC did not work properly, getting colder & colder all the time & they had no spare or exchange option, but the second day they changed it with the one from the room next door, sorry for them. Perhaps in it's day it was a great place, but it sorely needs a lot of updates & repairs!

Would definitely stay there again! Pools were super clean, grounds beautifully landscaped. You could get free filtered drinking water and ice. Our key card to enter the room was glitchy and took 3-5 attempts to unlock, but other than that absolutely no complaints. Staff were all super friendly.
