海韻韓屋旅館(Hanok Hyeyum)

Absolutely fantastic! The hanok is beautiful and offered a positive and unique experience for my husband and I on our honeymoon. The tatami on a heated floor was exactly what we needed to relax and for our backs after travelling for a while already. Very clean and the location is perfect to walk around the village, come back for breaks as needed, and explore the night market, downtown Jeonju etc. The 88chicken restaurant was particularly good by the way. Lee and Lim, the owners, are the most friendly, helpful and sincere people we have ever met and for this, our stay at Jeonju was made very special, we won't forget it. We look forward for returning and perhaps with kids next time! Whole heartedly recommend and can't wait to return.

It’s easy to find location of the hanok using Google map. The host is really friendly and helped to ensure that we are well taken care of. He provided useful information for our stay in hanok village and Naejangsan hike. Room is clean and comfortable. We like the garden view outside the room. It’s a wonderful place to relax and meet other travellers.

The couple that own this are amazing! I messed up the booking and was one day short and they had great communication so I was able to stay another day with ease. They are so incredibly warm and welcoming with a wonderful breakfast each day. They helped us get a taxi at the end (which was much needed). I felt incredibly homesick at this point but their attitude was welcoming and made me feel at home which eased the home sickness. The place was very clean and if anything was needed (like water, mosquito bite care etc) they were there. 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting the village.

To any travellers looking for accomodation in Jeonju and want to experience a genuine traditional hanok homestay, Hanok Hyeyum is an absolute gem that should not be missed. Located a few minutes walk away from the Hanok Village and from convenient public bus transport extending from Jeonju city to local mountain hiking tracks, Hanok Hyeyum is a beautiful and charming hanok homestay that includes heated flooring, air conditioning and free access to laundry. Although most hanok accomodations will boast the cosy wood interior, what makes Hanok Hyeyum shine is the exceptional care and service provided by the owner Mr. Lee. Proficient in English, Mr. Lee will meet and greet when you arrive to ensure all essentials are provided and questions answered. His friendly demeanor and generosity (he provided local treats in the morning despite breakfast not being included in the booking) is what made our stay at Hanok Hyeyum such a memorable and fantastic immersive experience. 여행내내 숙소덕분에 즐거웠어요:) 비가많이와서 걱정했는데, 여행시작 전부터 사장님께서 전주 날씨도 알려주시고, 도착했을 땐 밝은미소로 맞이해주셔서 너무 감사했어요. 숙소도 물론 너무 청결했구요:) 한옥은 방음이 안된다는 후기가 많아서 걱정했는데 괜한 걱정이었어요, 너무 편안하게 잘 쉬다갑니다. 아침엔 떡과 바나나, 요구르트를 챙겨주셔서 든든하게 아침을 시작할 수 있었습니다:) 너무 친절하시구 덕분에 첫 전주여행에 대한 좋은 기억을 만들 수 있어서 감사해요:)

Lovely stay. The location was at the Hanok Viage and an inexpensive taxi fare from the station (bus also easy but longer). The owner was lovely and really helpful with suggestions on the things to see and best places to eat. Note it is traditional bedding.

韓国の伝統的な建物に宿泊することができ、韓屋村中心地にも近く、満足でした。部屋はさそど大きくないですが、必要な物は全て揃っています。オーナーは非常に親切でした。

The owners were the kindest people I've met, made me feel so at home in my return to my hometown. Will be back definitely.

Stay was generally comfortable. Hanok owner was friendly. Location was convenient. Will return to this Hanok stay, if opportunity allows.
