ONOMO開普敦廣場客房酒店(Onomo Hotel Cape Town – Inn on the Square)

El hotel está situado justo al lado de donde se toma el "Hop on Hop off bus" lo cual está muy bien. Está entre "Green Market Square" y la calle "Long Street" En esta plaza se ponen desde temprano los puestos de venta artesanales. He leído quejas sobrer el ruido por las mañana al montar los puestos (ya que deben montar temprano y desmontar a partir de las 5 pm) pero en realidad no es molesto. Yo tuve una mala experiencia ya que a las 7 pm me robaron en la calle entre el hotel y la iglesia que da a la Plaza. Me robaron mi teléfono móvil. Hay mucha gente pidiendo que les compres comida o que les des comida, tengan mucho cuidado. El personal del hotel es muy amable y servicial. Las habitaciones son básicas. La cama es cómoda, el baño es algo estrecho, no muy cómodo. El día de mi check-out no había nadie en la recepción del hotel atendiendo. Eran las 5:50 am. Había un grupo llegando para hacer check-in, pero no había pesonal en recepción para atenderlos. La piscina es pequeña, está en la azotea, pero el área es realmente muy pequeña. El gym cuenta con lo básico. El desayuno es correcto, fruta, huevos, cortes fríos, quesos, panes y cereales. Te puedes sentar en la terraza o dentro. Contaban también con pan sin gluten a petición.

Sadly I was disappointed by the overall experience. Clearly this hotel is well located in the old town which is very convenient. But the surroundings are not always feeling safe, a lot of beggars in the streets around that ask you/follow you for food or money, a lot of market sellers that try to accosted you too. Huge craft market assemble every day, so it’s pretty noisy, the bar long street behind is also not helping. The hotel bar and restaurant were nicely renovated, breakfast wes really good! Pool/terrasse were closed under renovation, the sauna was not working. We had to fight to get water for the room every night, also had to go down middle of the night to the lobby to get more.. hotel was busy and run out of water glass bottle apparently. Room was very outdated and small, the AC was very noisy, need some renovation in general. Staff was friendly.

Great location and wonderful staff members who are on hand to help with anything. The location is a huge plus being so close to everything in Cape Town. They also provide a hotel taxi service if you don't have access to ubers for whatever reason. Loved the rooms and the pool at the top was also nice. I Would definitely recommend this place to other members of staff.

Breakfast was very good. The room was comfortable and there is a pool with amazing views on the rooftop.

We arrived early so luggage was put into storage as we were doing an excursion on arrival back at hotel we were assigned room 211 overlooking the market square we had no noise issues with stall holders setting up room was spacious but the bathroom was very small but functional tea/coffee making facilities in room a free bottle of water supplied daily a safe is also in the room all staff were outstanding and very helpful the restaurant was very good we had breakfast every day good choice and nice we had dinner in there once very nice also hotel is very central in the city hop on hop off bus stop in long street just round the corner we always felt very safe in the city but there are a lot of security staff about the hotel can organise taxis anywhere you want to go VandA waterfront 160rand return tell driver how long you want and he will pick you up hotel to airport 430 rand which is about 30 minutes away depending on traffic you book and pay at concierge desk all in all great hotel with great staff SCAM ALERT we were approached by a guy while walking on long street telling us the road was closed as they were filming something do not scan your debit/credit card just keep on walking I gave him some abuse and he just walked off

Vrij groot hotel in het centrum aan een marktplein. Onze reisleiding adviseerde ons om daar niet alleen de straat op te gaan, niet veilig. Verouderde kamers, beschimmeld voegen in de badkamer. Ruime kamers, maar zeer krappe badkamer. Matige douche, weinig water en temperatuur moeilijk instelbaar. Te kleine ontbijtruimte en matig ontbijt. Hotelbar sluit om 10 uur. Zwembad stelt niets voor en saunaruimte is oud en verwaarloosd, lang niet meer gebruikt? Handdoeken zijn ook een probleem. Blijkbaar is er een tekort want wij kregen nog maar 2 kleine handdoeken. Als je bij de receptie om handdoeken vraagt "wordt het meteen geregeld". Niet dus de volgende ochtend heb je ze nog niet en in de middag blijkt er nog maar 1 handdoekje te zijn. Maar weer naar de recepetie om te vragen of je nog wel mag douchen het kost moeite om niet boos te worden. Koffie bij ontbijt komt uit 2 trage apparaten. Hou rekening met een wachttijd van een kwartier. Als een schaal met iets leeg is kan het ook lang duren voor het wordt aangevuld. Heb je net yogurt gehaald moet je nog zien of je een lepel kan scoren want de bak met lepels is al een tij dje leeg. Het personeel mist het initiatief om zelf in de gaten te houden wat moet worden aangevuld.

It's a great hotel, perfect location. The rooms were great , comfortable and clean. The staff at the entrance were warm too. The challenge is the staff at the restaurant. The waitresses are the coldest bunch I have found in the service industry. I don't know if it is the nature of South Africans but getting a couple of coffee felt like a crime. The self service breakfast was good though they can play with variety for the sake of long staying guests.

Manque de nettoyage dans les chambres. Moquette au sol tachée. Radiateur vetuste. Nous avons retrouvé des tickets reçu, dans la chambre, de voyageurs ayant séjournés 3 mois auparavant. Salle de bain de taille ridicule, porte impossible a ouvrir si quelqu'un est déjà dans la salle de bain, car la porte passe à 2cm de la douche et des toilettes.Pommeau de douche inexistant, c'est un karsher. Pas de frigo. Literie très bien. Réveillé par le bruit de Green market mais pas dérangeant. Piscine très petite par rapport au photo. Manque de transat, peu de place autour de la piscine. Petit déjeuner complet mais toujours la même proposition.dommage. Points positif : restaurant incroyable avec un excellent rapport qualité prix. Super produit, très goutu, nous reviendrions sans hésiter. Extérieur : accessibilité idéale pour tout faire à cape town, en plein centre ville. Faire attention le soir.
