Our family of four (6 and 9 year old kids) stayed here on the family package and absolutely loved it. It’s a forest paradise with incredible views. The staff were so lovely and welcoming. The food very delicious- picked from the permaculture garden on site and prepared with such imagination and pride. The waterfall is magical and the guided rainforest tour with our expert forager guide was a real treat. We would return in a heartbeat!

Peace and tranquility! From the moment i arrived until I left, I felt a calmness, and safety! I felt I was welcomed and provided with all my needs! The food is amazing ! My cabin was sooooo sweet ! I loved my stay so much .

Gorgeous mountain Eco retreat - surrounded by tropical rainforest, Balinese villages and a view all the way down to the coast. Great food, comfortable beds. As a popular place to visit the resort welcomes many interesting people - so great to chat and connect to guests. Ask the Manager to help arrange a number of nearby excursions.

My wife and I had a great 4 day stay at Sarinbuana. We enjoyed the incredible food prepared from many fruits, veggies and native plants grown right there. We also met locals who guided us on a sunrise walk, a healing herb class, a Hindu temple visit. All on the rainforest slopes of Mount Batukaro!

Extraordinary beautiful setting - more than we would have imagined. However, the vibe was VERY unfriendly. Unlike literally everywhere else we visited in Bali, the Staff seemed too preoccupied with their roles to say hello, offer help when it was needed or acknowledge guests at all. Maybe they have had recent turn over, as other reviews seem to indicate very different experiences. The food is very bland, which is so strange because there is an abundance of herbs and spices growing on the property. portions are tiny - we were happy to have brought two loaves of bread and a jar of peanut butter with us to the lodge, which we ate in addition to the three meals a day we purchased at the lodge (we are not big eaters). The food is also oddly expensive- I know it’s all organic, but yikes - and staff told us that there were no other options nearby. Maybe they would have given us extra food if we’d complained but the staff were not approachable anyway. Our small children were tolerated but certainly not welcomed, and there were many things we wish we knew about before took the kids. We booked the treehouse cabin, which while lovely, wasn’t great for our family because you have to go outside to get between the floors and our young kids would have been afraid to do that in the middle of the night if they needed us. This just meant the adults had to go to bed at the same time as the kids and be in different rooms. The kids, who are not fussy eaters, could not find anything they enjoyed on the menu, and sunscreen is forbidden in the pool so swimming times were greatly restricted for us (I understand the reasoning of course, but we hadn’t anticipated this). We were also charged $30AUD because our kids wanted to see the sauna for literally one minute, and it’s $10 per person. this cost is documented on the website but not posted on site, and I’ve never seen a hotel charge for a sauna right next to the pool like that . They did remove the charge when we complained (less the 2,5% credit card fee added to the bill) but do your due diligence and read everything on the website if you don’t want surprises. We left feeling stunned by the scenery but a quite uneasy at having spent so much money to have been treated in a way that felt cold and unwelcoming in a country that is rightly famous for its extraordinary hospitality.

Great place. Really peaceful. A real oasis amongst the craziness of Bali. We stayed in Rama Manis (?spelling). Really nice, quiet, clean and spacious. Food was really good. Fresh and tasty. We did a few of the guided walks which were fun and interesting (and not too difficult). Genuinely friendly staff.

Stayed at the Senanga Cabin and absolutely loved our stay. This small but charming cabin is situated about a 5 minute drive from the main lodge which provides total privacy and serenity. It is nestled in the Batukaru rainforest and makes you feel totally at peace. We were able to order our meals from the lodge and have them delivered to us, but the cabin is also completely self contained so we were able to cook for ourselves as well! I'll definitely be back soon as there aren't many places left in Bali where you have the whole place to yourself to relax. Can't recommend this place enough!
