Staying at Lafaayette is consistently enjoyable thanks to its contemporary ambiance. While its prime location near Baguio's famous attractions is a plus, being situated on a bustling street means occasional noise from passing vehicles might be noticeable in your room. Nonetheless, the overall stay was satisfactory, and the pricing is reasonable.

Do not let the seemingly imposing facade of this fairly new hotel impress you! Just as we have painfully learned. There is nothing Presidential about their Presidential Suite experience! This review pertains to our FIRST and LAST stay at this hotel. This horrible experience happened last Dec 26-27, 2022. We booked their Presidential Suite upon being told that this is the only accommodation available around that Chris**as holiday. We have arrived right on time for the 2:00 pm check-in time. After all the paperwork, the suite was not yet ready. Apparently, they are still doing QC to ensure that the suite is within their “standards”. We finally got to our suite right around 3:00 pm. Not yet apparent during that time was that funky stench wafting in the air that later plagued our stay. Upon returning back to the suite later that night, a strong stench of what smells like sewer line was very apparent on the central living/dining area. And so, we just opened up all the windows, thinking that this will eventually go away. If anything, this stench did not reach both bedrooms once the doors were closed. And upon waking up the following morning, this disgusting stench was stronger than ever on the central living area! At this point, it was evident that this stench was emanating from the hotel’s sewer vent line. It seems like the more guests flushed their toilets during the night, the stronger the stench got. We have reported this issue to their front desk. And the seemingly naive male staff denied ever knowing that such a problem exists. He did promise to get the issue resolved. And upon returning from breakfast, the stench was seemingly gone. So, we thought. However, as it got closer to 12 noon check out time, the stench was slowly creeping back. We have once again reported this to the front desk. Only this time, the rather snooty attitude was evident. And once again, they denied that there is a sever line vent issue at their hotel. Plus, we’re about to check out anyway. Upon checking out, we have stressed this issue more than ever. But the sickening part is, there was not even any consolation offer to make things right for us by the hotel staff! They seem to have their hands tied regarding any consolation offer on their part. And not one manager even bothered to talk to us. Let alone, apologize for the experience! NO EFFORT WHATSOEVER FROM THEIR PART TO MAKE THE EXPERIENCE RIGHT!!! Mind you, Lafayette Hotel people, that a hotel suite stay is not just about the room itself. It’s about the overall experience! And you miserably failed in this regard! Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. NEVER AGAIN!

The room and the hotel itself is beautiful!!! I rrally like the premiumness of the hotel. And the friendliness of the staff. The only drawback is there's no airconditioner. They have a humidifuer/fan ut still prefers AC. The place is in the heart of the city as well and accessible to everything.

Contrary to what others say about this hotel, Lafaayette Luxury Suites is just superb & perfect! We had an amazing & the most comfortable 5 days stay in this luxury hotel in Baguio City. The check-in & check-out was swift & smooth. We were granted a late check-out at 1:00 PM. Allow me to share it’s pros: Location- very close to everything, just a short walk to SM City Baguio, cafés & restaurants, bus terminal, laundry shop, popular attractions in Baguio, etc. Room- so posh, extremely spacious & clean! It has a working space/ desk & everything we need. Make up room/ room cleaning is available daily & upon request, just let the Front Desk know should you want your room to be cleaned. If you opt not to, they can just replenish all your room amenities & toiletries! Although all rooms are non air-conditioned, air coolers are available. In our case, the air cooler was enough to cool the room since we stayed in Mid-November. We have been allocated a room on the roadside, it is true that you can hear all the sound & noise of vehicles passing-by, but we figured out to close the top windows & we can peacefully enjoy our night! Wi-Fi- very fast & reliable. Staff & Service- they have been welcoming, accommodating & ready to assist! Prior to our arrival, i messaged the hotel’s page on Facebook for some infos & requests. I requested a room on the higher floor & the possibility of having a room on the opposite side of the road (due to the negative reviews i’ve read online). We were given a room on the higher floor, initially on the 10th floor, but since it wasn’t ready yet at the time of our check-in, they asked us if we were okay to stay on the 8th floor which we agreed. L’ Epicure Restaurant- where we enjoy our daily complimentary breakfast buffet included in our room accommodation. It offers a good & quality selection of foods. Special shout-out to the ff. staff who stood out during our stay: Jumart & Nathaniel from the Front Desk, Kenette of L’Epicure, the bell men & security guards & lastly our room attendant (whom i didn’t get the chance to get his/her name) who kept our room immaculately cleaned & amenities replenished. Thank you for your great hospitality! We truly had an amazing baby moon & first wedding anniversary celebration/staycation! Well done team for your great customer service! We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great value for their money!
