埃姆斯希爾頓花園酒店(Hilton Garden Inn Ames)

We came for baskeball tournament in town with several families. we ordered pizza at 930 at night and wanted to let the boys eat together. We were told we could not be in the lobby til after 10pm. So we had to go to our rooms and wait 20 minutes til 10 to come back down and eat as a group. The parking lot was very slippery my son fell going in to check in. The next morning it had snowed and the side walks had not been cleared. The parking lot was not cleared either. which made loading our car hard. (not to mention it was icy under it) We also went down to have breakfast in the morning- there was NO Coffee!! like they had ran out and no coffee could be made. I had already checked out of my room by this time so I could not go back to get coffee.

We picked this hotel because it had a pool, only to find out as i walked my 3 children there, its closed. I feel during the booking process this should be stated in BOLD!!!

Hotel is nice, fairly new. A little beat up in spots and could use a deep cleaning in some areas of our bathroom (at least in one we stayed)

I was extremely disappointed to find out that the pool and hot tub were closed when I arrived. I booked a hotel with a pool as I was traveling with my daughter and she wanted to swim. When I called the front desk the response was “well…it’s on our website”.. she offered me a discount until she realized that I prepaid through ******* so then said she could not do anything. I was also given a room that was far from clean. Hair in the shower, dirty coffee pot, crumbs on the couch and floor, dirty end table, and the air vent had a thick layer of dust and the screws were coming off the wall. The guy at the desk offered to clean for me and apologized. I’d never stay here again.

We were told when making the reservation, that the hot tub was working, it was not working. There was soap and shampoo left from last guest in shower, the breakfast was outrageously priced for what was available. The bed was broke and make a noise when you made the slightest move. The refrigerator in our room had leftover items from last guest. The manager was rude when asked about the issues. I believe the price we paid for the room was too high for the quality of stay.

The young man who checked us in was incredibly friendly and helpful. Amazing service, the best I’ve ever received! He was incredible!

Our stay was great other than after I paid my my bill through PayPal the hotel charged my credit card 25.00 before I even got to my room.

We choose this hotel for the hot tub which we didn't get. It was broken. But everything was ok.
