阿爾圖納速8酒店(Super 8 by Wyndham Altoona)

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room and quiet since it is not next to a highway. Price seemed a little steep for a Super 8, but the full breakfast saved us another stop before heading out. Area seemed safe and there were restaurants not too far away. We have never been to Altoona before, and don't anticipate being there again, but I would stay here if we do come this way.

This hotel definitely had an old school charming appeal. However I would consider it very budget (though a $198 price per night doesn’t necessarily seem budget.). I prefer nicer, more up to date hotels and wouldn’t choose to stay here again. The bathroom had an odor and the room also had a definitive smell, which seemed to come from the heating unit.

The people at front desk were lovely and that’s where it ends. We were on the second floor. No elevator, had to walk up steps. You enter the outdated hallway. Half way to our room, you look up and about a 3ft section on the ceiling was missing. Wires and insulation are just hanging there. Our room was out dated. Stains on the carpet. Tv wouldn’t stay on. It would turn off every hour if we didn’t turn the channel. Air conditioning would shut off every 15 minutes, and the light in the bathroom every 30 minutes. It seemed everything was set on a timer whether we were in the room or not. The bathroom was gross. Hair on the toilet seat, hair on the floor, tub was dirty. Mildew smell. Shower curtain and towels had stains. We didn’t complain to management as we were not spending time there. We spent all of Saturday up at Penn State and at my parents hotel at state college. However, we will never stay there again and will recommend to everyone to stay away!

Not so good, this hotel is long in the tooth. The staff is friendly but the room was dirty. There was mold in the tub. The bed is past it’s prime and the lazy boy was very dirty. We put towels down to be able to sit on it. We cut our stay short as we could not stay another night.

The room was dirty. Bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned at all. Toothpaste splatter on faucet and mirror, hair and dust/dirt on floor, wasn't swept or mopped. Convenience was good, weather was bad so we needed a place to get some sleep.

The room was dirty!! Don’t think the floors have been cleaned or vacuumed in a while. Bathroom was dirty and needs a bleach scrub down!!! Found a roach behind the tv. Disgusting!!!!

Was mostly clean, missing several amenities like soap, shampoo, bath towel. Front desk said that 2 housekeepers had quit, so understand that some things may have gotten missed. Front desk remedied the issues immediately.
