Travelodge by Wyndham Zanesville

i thought it was worst then a Halloween haunted house dirt rugs / broken bed / smell is so bad that you would need a gas mask to stay there

Don’t stay at this hotel. The entire wing that I was on smelled of mildew and mold. The room I was given smelled like a dog kennel. Complained and was lied to about a refund.

Although the staff were nice, the property is in no way indicative of the std held by Wyndham; this place needs a lot of work before I would stay there again. Also, the morning front desk clerk did not know how to add my Wyndham acct number to the reservation so I could get the points.

When arriving at our hotel it looked abandoned. The pylon sign at the driveway was totally dark. We pulled in and everything was overgrown. Parking lot has ****s everywhere. When entering the lobby there were 3 trashcans on the floor right in front of the desk for a leak. After dealing with the front desk person. Who was nice by the way but not dressed in a uniform or business casual clothes...looked like pajamas. We were told to drive around back to door E to access our room. When we entered the building through door E the odor of the building was very overwhelming. Smelled like spoiled milk and death. We walked up to the 2nd floor for our room 261. Opened door and the odor there was tolerable but the room was not maintained well. If we had time and i didn't waste my points we would have left. The bed linens were pilled and has pulls in it. There was a rip in the curtains that they tied to fix it. The bathroom was old and needed to be maintained and the sink and counter was only 3 foot off the floor. This place should not be on any websites to book at until some money is used to upgrade it. I feel that i should get my money back too. It was definitely not a 6.6 of 10 in rating.

Smelled of insecticide. One whole building looked derelict. There was a dead bird and bottles of bug killer visible. The ice maker's cleanliness was dubious. The door lock KeyCard reader was problematic. No non fast food choices closeby. When I got home I *****ped in the garage and immeadiatly showered and washed All clothes and carry bags. I have never done that before.

For a moment I though the place was closed … Real bad , dogs living in rooms and the smell ….

Looks nice in picture, very old dated hotel, show a lot of wear, ripped curtains, weird stinky smell all through the hallway and stairs. Thankfully room did not smell. Bed and pillows very hard, did not sleep well. Woman at desk was nice though.

The hotel is rundown, and resembles an abandoned building. The parking lot had missing pavement and there were only 2 trucks in the entire parking lot at 4 pm. Indoor inspection of a room showed mold, cracked bathroom fixtures, and strong disinfectant smells, open widows, and missing curtains.

Hotel staff were pleasant. Room was nice, spacious, bed was kinda hard but was ok. Shower was good. However the dogs in a room across the hall barking constantly was horrible, anytime there was a noise made those dogs went crazy. Unfortunately woke us upat 6am on the day we were leaving and had a very long drive home. By the signs on the door I'm guessing these dogs belonged to the hotel. Overall the hotel was good but the rating is due to the dogs.
