明智旅館(The Inn at Wise)

The Inn is very clean and kept with updated bathrooms. Breakfast was a no and would avoid however the best thing about this place was the front desk woman Laken I think her name was. She was so sweet and helpful with info on food places, etc. I’ll be coming back simply because of her hospitality!

Rooms were assigned without regard for party size (e.g. one person in a large room and a couple in a tiny room). TV wasn’t functional, but the bed was big and comfortable. I would have slept well if there wasn’t someone jogging up and/or down the loud, creeky stairs at 4:30 AM on a Wednesday.

The staff is great. Extremely friendly and accommodating. They are always the best part of my visit to Wise.

Will definitely aim to stay here again. It was perfect. Breakfast left much to be desired but that's not the reason I booked to start with. Love the location and how quiet it was. Wasn't too far from the business I was conducting in SE KY.

I absolutely love staying at the Inn in Wise, VA, each year when I visit family & friends. The shower, towels, beds & pillows are all fabulous! I appreciate the mid-size mini fridge and mirowave. The only thing I would change is to have a higher quality brand for the rolls of bathroom tissue. The staff so friendly, too!

This property has character. If I remember correctly one of the friendly staff members said it was build in 1910 and caught on fire and was restored in 2014. They have a lot of art work through the inn that represents a lot of history. Looking forward to staying there again as our halfway point on our travels up north.

Great room and staff in a wonderful walkable setting with covered parking. Continental breakfast is the only thing that could be improved.

We were in town to see a play our granddaughter was in at the college,very close very convenient. Loved the mexican restaurant El Dorado across the street.

The hotel staff were nice and very accommodating. Our room was not the cleanest. There was hair in our bed as well as on our towels.
