We really liked the cabin the problem was all we had was a small space heater and when we woke up it was 44 degrees outside and maybe 60 in the cabin. Both of us have gotten sick. We loved the trails through the woods and would have liked to have a campfire not sure what the rules for that were. It would be nice if all the cabins had a window view into the woods like some cabins did farther back did to see wildlife.

Remote, quiet, secluded and off the beaten path this is a gem for anyone who’s looking to be alone free from crowds or people. The small town of Talkeetna is15 minutes away and there is a grocery store and a convenience store 5 minutes away.

We loved staying here! We stopped in for one night with my family of 5, and it was our favorite place of the trip. It’s a cute, cozy cabin off the beaten path. It is well maintained, they communicated great prior to my arrival. It was such a fun place. It rained the whole time we were there so we didn’t get to explore the property, but it was beautiful around the area.

Nice cabin to stay; quiet, close to nature; nice host-they put a welcome board at the front door of your cabin…love the flower plants in front of the cabin—with colored marble named …and, it is spotless clean; we feel great that we brought our own slippers so that we didn’t walk in with boots

We stayed one night on our way back from Denali. I wish we had planned in more time at this exceptional location. The cabins are equipped with everything you can wish for, you name it it’s there. We bought steaks and sausages at the nearby supermarket and prepared our own BBQ at the main cabin. There was a campfire at night where we gathered with the owners and other guests, very cozy and interesting conversations. There are hiking trails to explore from the cabins directly and more things to explore in Talkeetna. I wish we would have planned more time to explore and enjoy this hidden gem. So much love and care is put into this lodge, untouched nature, what a great experience. Thanks for your kind hospitality, hope to be able to visit again some day.

This was my favorite property we stayed out throughout our Alaskan adventure. VERY peaceful and gorgeous property. A screened-in entry porch was wonderful because mosquitoes in Alaska are aggressive. The kitchen was new and stocked with a beautiful full window that looked out into a private forest. The bedroom was huge so it was nice to spread things out and get re-organized while being busy traveling. The cabins are so new they still smell like fresh cut wood. Communication was prompt and kind and welcoming! The property itself was private and welcoming, with great community spaces, even some walking trails. 10/10 will be back next time i am ANYWHERE near this spot!!!

We had an excellent stay! Cabin was clean, cozy and perfect for two people! Staff was very friendly and welcoming. They put a welcome sign outside of your cabin door with your name on it. It’s the little touches like hot chocolate packets that made us feel more at home! Looking forward to staying with them again!

The cabins were newly renovated so in good condition, and had all amenities (kitchen items, heater, comfortable beds/blankets). The enclosed patios were very nice. The property (~8 cabins) is well away from other properties in the area in a fairly "wild" area and has walking trails to a creek. The owner was helpful and communication very good with a flexible check-in time. The cabins are relatively close to each other so don't expect you are secluded in the woods, but still provides a much better experience than a hotel room. The cost is very good for being in a stand-alone cabin compared to other cabins or hotels.

Beautiful cabin, nicely appointed w modern amenities. Very clean and new inside w kitchen, nice bathroom and spacious bedroom. 15 minutes from Talkeetna. Very nice manager/owner! We left a jacket there snd we were promptly notified. Picked it up driving back from Denali.
