維塞利亞温德姆酒店(Wyndham Visalia)

Nice hotel! I thought this is a motel at the first, but actually they are not. Their room is beyond my expectations. Very new and comfortable! They also got 2 swimming pools, one in door and one out door. Came to the town for visit the sequoia national park, this is definitely one of the best places to stay!

The bed was super comfortable! The staff was wonderful! And the complimentary breakfast was decent!

The rooms and around the hotel need to be updated, especially the rugs, windows and curtains in the rooms. A better selection of coffee, and a better selection of freezer foods, snacks and soups. The one lady in the coffee shop was not nice and rude and seemed unhappy I didn’t catch her name but I was there from 12/30-1/1

The carpet in the hallways were dirty the WHOLE stay. No one vacuumed the hallways? For 3 days? We put the Privacy Please sign on our door, but the maid still came in while we were out. What is the point of the sign if youre going to ignore it? Check in/out was quick, though.

Hotel is very cheap. But not even worth the low rates. Unfortunately, we had to call several times for cleaning, towels, toilet paper etc. Our room was right next door to the pool. It was quite loud. The internet did not work in our room. The bedspread was messed up. It was not very clean. Anyway, we probably won’t stay there again. I recommend they charge a bit more and provide a better experience

So, upon check in, the lady in the front office was not happy to see us. She was rude and very unfriendly. She also put us in front of the laundry room in the second floor and it was very loud. The guy that works at the front office at night though was very pleasant and nice.

Check in time was at 4pm. We got there a little after 4 and they said our room was not ready yet so we had to wait 40 minutes for them to finish cleaning it. When we finally got checked in, we got up to our room and the cleaning girls were still in there finishing up. They apologized for taking so long, which we appreciated but the proceeded to tell us how the people who just left our room were “so dirty and left a big mess”! They cleaned the room really well. But… the smell of cow manure in the room was constant and awful. I understand that Visalia is located near a rural area with a lot farms/agriculture is around but did it mean that the inside rooms had to smell that way? Maybe better vents are needed? It was a constant awful smell!!!
