The hotel is clean and very comfortable. Sure I will come back if I visit Vernon next time.

We asked the staff if they could prepare something upon our arrival to surprise our daughter who is turning 7 today. The staff went above and beyond, putting about 20 balloons in our room and a happy birthday message when we opened the door. It was a really nice touch!

* Excellent pool area and slide for kids. * Missing amenities and lacklustre approach to resolution. The streaming services did not work, and no one attempted to resolve the situation. There was no hair dryer in the room, and it took multiple calls to the desk to attempt to resolve it. One did arrive but too late for us to use.

My recent stay at the Fairfield by Marriott in Vernon BC was highly disappointing. The hotel exhibited a series of significant issues that made my experience far from enjoyable. Here's a brief summary of the problems I encountered: Broken bathroom doorknob: The bathroom doorknob was dysfunctional, unable to lock, and fell off easily with a slight touch. Empty tissue box: Upon arrival, I found the tissue box in my room completely empty, indicating a lack of attention to basic amenities. Absence of body wash: The room lacked body wash, an essential toiletry that should have been provided. Lack of assistance with sofa bed: No staff member was available to assist with setting up the sofa bed, causing inconvenience. Non-working elevator: The elevator was out of service, creating difficulties for guests, especially those with mobility issues or heavy luggage. Flickering lightbulb in the bathroom: The bathroom had a persistent issue with a flickering lightbulb, which detracted from the comfort and ambiance. In conclusion, my stay at the Fairfield by Marriott in Vernon BC was highly unsatisfactory above issues. I strongly caution potential guests against choosing this hotel until these issues are addressed effectively.

I liked the pool area for the kids and the quiet nature of the property. Unfortunately, customer service was lacking, especially for a Marriott Property!!! We drove 4 hrs and had dinner at a restaurant when we arrived. It was late and all 3 kids were exhausted. They fell asleep at 11pm only for us to have to move rooms at midnight due to a foul sewage smell that kept getting worse. It was so toxic. Now, this is out of control of the hotel but their service was terrible. We had to repack and move rooms ourselves with no assistance. We eventually got back to bed at 2am. I complained to the front desk and they said word for word, "It's not in our job description to help guests move rooms"!!! Terrible! I remember staying at a Sandman Hotel having to move rooms and they helped us out!

Overall it was ok but was expecting better being a Marriott. The breakfast was just ok. Lots of wear on doors etc. , carpet in breakfast area needs a good cleaning and we were expecting our room to be made up after we left at 10:30am & returned at 9:00 pm and it wasn’t. Staff were very friendly

We chose this property due to the waterslide and continental breakfast. Upon arriving the water slide had a sign stating it was closed. We did not find out until check out that the staff were supposed to notify us that it could be opened upon request. They did not. Then when we arrived for breakfast at 9:30 AM, all the food had already been removed. A discount would have gone alkng way as this was a staycation for my son that fell short by a landslide. Otherwise it is a very clean and comfortable hotel.

My husband & I stayed here while visiting relatives in the area. The room was clean & comfortable & the staff at the front desk was friendly. After a couple longs days of mountain driving, we liked that we could walk to dinner.
