Chuveiros não esquentam. A cortina do banheiro estava tomada por fungos. O atendente do café da manhã é xenófobo e trata mal pessoas que não falam espanhol. Gatos sobem nas mesas onde as pessoas fazem as refeições. Pêlos de gatos por toda parte. Nojento.

O atendente que serve café da manhã é XENÓFOBO, havia pulgas no quarto, fezes de gato pelo espaço, chuveiro que não esquentava, roupas de camas sujas. Lodo nos banheiros. Gato pulando nas mesas do café. Experiência terrível. Saí de lá com picadas de pulgas e com febre.

Cuando decidimos con Daniel viajar a Valpo por su cumpleaños me puse a buscar hostales. Busqué y llegué a Casa Volante. Vicky la niña de la recepción es un 7! Super buena onda, simpática y una guía turística de lujo. El hostal un 7, agradable, limpio, fácil de llegar (a pesar de las escaleras jajqjajaja), la gente que trabaja ahí es muy amable. Si no quieres salir a comer, puedes comprar cosas afuera y utilizar la cocina del hostal. Hay platos, tazas, vasos, servicios, microondas, todo!!. Hay salas comunes, un taca taca, un mueble con juegos de mesa. En la parte de abajo hay un café que se llama Crisol, y los dias viernes y sábado (creo) funciona un bar con variados tragos y cervezas, pizzas y sándwiches. Recomendadisimo el hostal.

Super friendly and helpful multilingual staff! One of the comfiest warmest beds I've ever slept in at a hostel. Great kitchen, bathrooms, and terrace. Super cool public restaurant space. Great location. Just be aware that it is in the middle of a hill (like everything in Valpo) if you have super heavy luggage. Beautiful aesthetics

The Casa Volante Hostel is located at the foot of Cerro Concepción in Valparaíso. I arrived without notice and was able to get a room very easily. The place is extremely close to some must visit sites in Valparaiso. The red door, piano stairs, a famous slide, and of course lots and lots of murals and places where you can go to eat. They serve breakfast from 9 to 11 am, but you have to either pay 5 to 6 thousand Chilean pesos or just get a deal for an extra thousand pesos at the moment of booking your stay via web. I guess what I liked the most about this place was the hospitality and how passionate Marcela at the front desk was to guide me through everything I needed to know to have a good time while wandering through the hill. I didn’t even have to ask too much and she just started talking about how I could get to the places I wanted to visit and even took the time of circling the spots on a map so I could find them easily. Plus you could tell she felt very enthusiastic when explaining about it all. Finally, they also give you a towel even if you stay in a shared room which I think was pretty nice. I would 100 percent come back.

Casa Volante is awesome. That's it. The staff is lovely, prestative and charming. The hostel is well located in the heart of Valparaíso and the acommodations and good. It's located in a touristic point of Valparaíso, close to everything you may need and the nightlife. The house of the hostel is an classic Valparaíso style house, the hostel was always clean and lot of bathrooms available for use. Nice beds, pillows and structure and a really nice natural breakfast with some good options of bread, fruits, juices and cereals. For sure would stay in Valparaíso and this is my first choice, Casa Volante!

Not a bad place to stay if you are easygoing and like to meet new people. There's not really enough bathrooms for the number of guests when its full, and you better get to breakfast early. The staff were super helpful and lovely, until we had a problem with our room and then things got a little tense. Maybe a place for people who can put up with anything. We're open-minded and experienced travellers but expect good customer service when things go wrong.

Muy buena recepción y hospitalidad, las piezas son muy aseadas y también los baños. El ambiente al interior del hostal es muy cálido, cuentan con varios espacios para compartir. Además, está ubicado en un lugar cercano a bares y locales de comida.
