舒適酒店(Comfort Inn Valentine)

First room assigned still had dirty sheets, used soap and leftover food in it. When informed manager was told that’s unfortunate. Second room was better but tub had rusty shower head and hair in the tub drain.

The beds are very comfortable. A dirty towel was left in the bathroom on the hook behind the door, would be my only complaint, but other than that it was a pleasant stay.

The property is definitely showing its age. Has a faint musty scent in the rooms. About what you would expect from a Comfort Inn in Valentine Nebraska.

I've stayed here several times, once per year when I'm on my way home from Wisconsin to Colorado. The room was ok, and it seemed quiet, until 5:30AM, when trash was being picked up in the alley behind the building. Good thing I was already up. Overall condition seems a bit worn and dated. The staff at the front desk were very nice; moved me to the room I wanted on the second floor, and provided eating utensils when Pizza hut didn't give me any. Breakfast was ok. Price seems a bit high, compared to the Marriot I stayed at in Des Moines the week before.

This hotel is ok, maybe good. But far from excellent. The facility ok. We only interacted with 3 staff. 2 of which were very nice and at least cordial. The young person that checked me in should not be allowed to. I had made a reservation online and was in the system. Apparently that means no greeting, no eye contact, only held out his hand and said “ID”. “Credit card”. Gave both to him, not a word other than, “confirm the information on the pad”. I told him it was incorrect. No response. Again I said it’s incorrect. He again said “confirm the information”. So I did. I asked him if he was having a bad night. He said, “yes, had a lot of hard people tonight” The man behind me just shook his head and shrugged. I asked for a 1st floor room as wife had knee surgery. We were placed in 226, 2nd floor, literally the farthest away from elevator. Asked him why? He said “the new guy on the morning shift assigns rooms.” Only 6-8 cars when we checked in. This privileged little brat would have been given a good spanking if my child and caught treating an adult this way.

First, Kudos to the Management and Staff here; all respect, and thanks for taking such good care of your guests! It's a good place; laid-back, welcoming, comfortable and clean. The breakfast bar gets your day off to a great start. Close to the beautiful Niobrara; nice town, Valentine!

The hot tub water was green. There was trash/leftover things from the previous occupants in the refrigerator. The beds were very hard.

I thought with 2 queens bed be bigger all around in room.. small fridge n that bathroom was very small

staff helpful and friendly. web site states breakfast but cold cereal and bagels was all that was offered, unlike other Comfort Inns.
