very nice, excellent value. Kitchen well stocked. Would suggest a broom and dust pan, so we wouldn't need to use the vacuum on the floor. Beds were comfy. Bathroom OK, but water lines were reversed for the shower. We were fortunate to see the Aurora. Would definitely stay again and recommend

Old town but absolutely beautiful!
The hotel was old as well but well maintained. We live with A/C on year-round so having no A/C was a little bit challenging for us. Our first and only night with two-doubles. We definitely prefer two-queens but everything around was very pleasant so I want to revisit the town.

This property needs a major overhaul. Both the public spaces and the rooms are dated and rundown. The breakfast area was cluttered and unappealing. It was not what I expect from a Best Western. On the plus side, our room was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable.

This hotel is right on the bay and close to the restaurants downtown. In walking distance of everything. They do have laundry facilities that cost $2 a load. The continental breakfast was so good. Better than most offered by hotels.

Great place to stay on the harbor. The guy at checkin was really friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Would stay here again in Valdez. Walkable to restaurants , shops and harbor.

Our room overlooked the coast guard boat. We enjoyed that very much to watch them do their drills.
The only thing I can really suggest more handicap parking by the main door. They have a reserved spot for manager but not for handicap by front door.

I liked that it was open off season! They were one of a few places that had breakfast & it was part of the stay so that was nice. The floors creak very loudly. We had family on the 2nd floor as well as the 1st and the rooms were very creaky. There is no elevator, so be sure to mention that stairs are not doable if you are traveling with elders.
