河廣場莊園酒店(River Place Manor)

We waren oprecht verrast door de ligging van dit prachtige hotel. De kamers zijn ruim en zeer schoon. De ligging aan de rivier en de mooie tuin zijn geweldig. We werden gastvrij ontvangen. Het personeel is aardig en het eten is goed.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Garten und waren vollauf zufrieden. Das Frühstück war das beste auf der ganzen Reise. Auch das Abendessen, sehr stimmungsvoll im Garten, mit Blick auf den Oranje, kann man empfehlen.

Très bel hôtel au bord de la rivière Orange, et à 5mn du centre. Chambres spacieuses, claires, et bien équipées. Restaurant dans une jolie salle. Les Plats sont délicieux. Personnel charmant. Je recommande. (Il faisait froid dans la chambre).

When I made the booking I was told that the river facing rooms were fully booked but that we could have a non-river facing room, which we booked. It turned out that these rooms are right next to their building expansion (adding rooms), in other words, when you open your window or door, you have workers right on the outside. We felt that we should have been informed about the construction work, we then would not have rented the room. The rooms are actually not rentable. Also, we couldn't use the room during the day due to the noise and the invasion of privacy. However, we were given a very nice family suite for one night (the hotel was fully booked for the next night), which we cannot fault and we also didn't pay for the upgrade. The room was river facing and slightly away from the building works with a lovely view over the Orange River. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was good. If it wasn't for the 'construction' room, we would have had a good stay.

We enjoyed River Palace Manor. Quality service reception. Assisting us regarding information. Staff assistance regarding our needs. Beautiful spacious rooms and garden in front of the rooms All in all Great Ambiance. We will come again.

Amazing stay - can truly recommend this wonderful place. Beautifully situated next to the river. Beautifully decorated and clean rooms. Nice braai area. Wonderful variety for breakfast. Friendly staff.

A great place to stay. Very friendly and warm reception. Spent 1 night on the way to the Kgalagadi. Riverboat sunset cruise, dinner at Red Ox a beautiful view from the room and breakfast at Rever Place. Highly recommended

Wonderful stay! Could not fault the River Place Manor on anything. Management went out of their way to accommodate us and the refrigeration of our food before we set off for the Kgalagadi. Will visit again.
