烏姆赫蘭哈花苑酒店(Garden Court Umhlanga)

The hotel is very beautiful with a spacious view. The breakfast was delicious!! Moreover, the location of the hotel is the best part because it’s a walking distance to gateway mall. I’ll definitely come back.

Grande Hotel internazionale con camere moderne ed due ampi letti. Le camere sono piuttosto piccole, ma funzionali. Ottimo il parcheggio interno visto che nelle vicinanze non c'è parcheggio. Per quanto riguarda la reception abbiamo avuto diversi problemi dovendo spiegare ad ogni cambio turno del personale le nostre problematiche. Di fatto avevamo chiesto la sveglia alle 4,00 di mattina, la colazione da portare via e la navetta per le ore 4,45. Nessuna delle tre richiesta è stata esaudita con il rischio di perdere l'aereo. Ci siamo molto arrabbiati!

We travelled for a funeral and there were 5 of us. The rooms were fine however, we had asked for a packed breakfast as we had to leave early. We only got one for 5 people. We then ask if we can have a coffee, to which the receptionist says we need to ask the kitchen. I then sit in the lobby waiting to leave where she comes by to make her coffee and says to me if I want some I can come here and make it. Terrible staff don’t care at all. Never again

We had a relaxed time at the hotel where we spent most of our time, especially because we could not get time to go to the beach due to the rain. The TVs in the family room do not give an option for Netflix or YouTube which was disappointing for the kids however, the hotel did have fun activities planned such as movie nights at the Kids Zone. The heated pool allowed us to swim throughout the unfavourable rainy weather. We booked the Christmas dinner at the hotel and the food tasted amazing. The hotel is a walking distance from Gateway Mall and that was so convenient for us. A particular thanks to the manager Warren who went out of his way to ensure that our misplaced item was found and safely returned. The friendly staff at the Mnandi Restaurant and Bar worked very hard and often stayed a little over their night shifts to ensure that everyone got their last orders in. I enjoyed my hot baths and showers, I will definitely miss their showers.

I had a reasonably good stay at the Garden Court Hotel in Umhlanga. the room comfortable and the food was delicious, especially the Mac and Cheese and the spiced chicken wings. Only criticisms were the pillows being all hard and the TV channels that were very limited.
