If you are at Udaipur, you might dream for a stay in a Royal Palace, and "The Garden Hotel" is the choice to make the dream comes true with a pocket friendly way. It ran by famous HRH group, they host best hotels in Udaipur, all of them are previously Historical Royal Palaces modified into hotel. HRH groups are famous for its Indian Heritage hospitality, and we enjoyed every bit of it during our stay at Garden Hotel in this mid-March. All the way, this Garden hotel is aesthetically designed, keeping the old heritage touch and overall a well maintained property, the service and staff hospitality, the royal treatment that we got absolutely amazing and totally overwhelmed us. Rooms are not so big, but well decorated, perfectly blended with old designs and modern amenities. Like to highlight the cleanliness of this hotel, well furnished, clean bed, linen, clean washroom with luxury toiletry. Good secure parking, beautiful gardens and walking/resting area, well decorated lounge, and open restaurant. Specially like to mention about the Restaurant and top-class food items. We tried famous Rajasthani non-veg thali, Laalmaas & Missi roti, Kababs are tasty and good range of cocktails. And on top of this hospitality of the service person and support staff, specially like to mention about Sri Sanjay Tiwary ji, who carefully understand our requirements and suggested foods/recipes and drinks. While the foods getting prepared, he was chatting with us, being a localites of Udaipur, he was sharing his thoughts about the historical city, people culture, local historical attractions etc. We thoroughly enjoyed his company. Hotel reception person is very co-operative, dedicated and helped us to plan our site-seeing at Udaipur, also advises us where we can take our own car and where to take Auto to avoid traffic congestion. I would strongly recommend Garden Hotel to get a nice experience of palatial stay at Udaipur for a quite peaceful family vacation.

The Garden Hotel is located close to the City Palace (15 min walk) and the old city and belongs to the HRH Hotel Group, which belongs to the royal family of Udaipur/Mewar. The building is adjacent to the Mewar Automobile Museum. The rooms are clean, the staff is very nice and very friendly. The hotel restaurant served good food in the quiet inner courtyard which also houses a Thali Restaurant which belongs to the Hotel as well. They have no pool and the rooms are a bit noisy as the hotels is located on a street corner - but that's life. In the end I didn't feel too much disturbed but this might not be the case for everybody. Anyway - if you are looking for a not overpriced stay close to everything in Udaipur, this is it.

Very very good food and service by Mr Rajendar Kumar. Excellent service. Laal Maans and daal bati were the dishes that blew us away. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Fantastic chef and great ambience. Lovely brunch place

Amazing food and hospitality . Please try the thali. True to its flavours . Rajendra , Dinesh, Virendra and Sanjay were very warm !! At the heart of the city , it’s an amazing and budget place to have good Rajasthani food . Thanks Aishwarya……..

We visited Udaipur in Feb 2024. With too ***y stay options to choose from, got settled for this one as it is associated with HRH group. What an excellent hotel this turned out to be. About the rooms - The rooms are set out in an old, well maintained Heritage building. Absolutely clean, comfortable beds and all necessary amenities. Housekeeping is prompt and attends to any requests within minutes. Restaurant- we had food in other restaurants in Udaipur, but this one was the one that stood out. The quality of the food was outstanding with no after effects whatsoever. Laal maas and other non veg dishes were perfect. The breakfast was really good and the restaurant staff would reach out to us to meet our requirements. Special call out to the chefs - Kishanji and Ravindraji and the stewards Bhagwant Singh and Rohit. Not to forget the very entertaining started steward - Sanjay. The in-house vintage car museum is excellent and Roshanlal gave in-depth details about every car displayed. Overall an excellent stay with all places of interest within minutes from the hotel. Excellent service and food From Rohit, Rajendra ,Dinesh, raju Nice quality food Thali was great Especially palak paneer , sweets Place is peaceful and outside parking space and garden is awesome Roti and rice were provided and were good quality Amazing place to be with family

I paid a visit to the Garden hotel restaurant after my visit to the renowned Car museum from the Udaipur Rulers.The car collection was exotic,rare and vibrant.Every car had a story and a great storyteller took me through each car with key attention to detail. The visit wouldn't have been complete with a delectable selection of delicacies to compete for the kings. That led me to the Garden hotel.I was welcomed by Mr Sanjay tiwari ,who was well groomed and knowledgeable.He paid attention to detail and handled my queries with grace.This led me to decide for the vegetarian kebab platter ,where the head chef Kishan did his magic.Paneer, Yogurt cutlets,vegetable cutlet,minced vegetable and potato based starters served with mint sauce.Heaven on earth.Mr.***nalal who was my steward for the lunch day catered to my special requests of warm water and maintained a amiable environment. 700rs for a good meal wasn't overpriced and can be ***aged by ***y. Highly recommended to visit .thank you.

Food was good. Mr Nathulal and Rohit were good to service us on the restaurant and bar. Visited after the car museum, staff was very helpful . They accomodated us for our custom requirements. Also note, if you buy tickets for the museum you get 10% off on your food।

The Veg thali was really nice, ambience was lovely and Mr Rohit was very Hospitable . Bhola das ji cooked really authentic food too . Recommend anyone coming to Udaipur to try this place . The rooms here are also very nice and affordable. There's candle light dinner too
