米茲帕酒店(Mizpah Hotel)

Dinner and breakfast were both outstanding. Fantastic calamari, perfectly cooked medium rare filet mignon and out of this world creamed spinach. Breakfast scramble was tasty

Staying at the Mizpah is taking a step back into time, the aura of a century old Hotel steeped in Western history is the reason we chose to stay there. The property has been modernized a decade or so back and is being continually updated, although it is still a vintage experience with period furniture and lighting and countless framed wall pictures of the long gone glory days of Tonapah. What impressed us most was the friendly and accommodating staff that went the extra mile for us. We had a great nights sleep in a comfortable bed, zero outside noise. Morning breakfast of sausages and eggs topped off our stay. We will definitely come here again.

Tired old hotel in need of serious facelift! Dirty Carpet, bar closed, dark and dated in every way. Does have possibilities but need some love!

No washcloths or hand towels. Cold water handle broken. No table to sit at - had to sit on the bed to work on computer, but the WIFI wouldn't connect. Did have coffee maker in the room. Nice old hotel, but wouldn't recommend for travelers with kids or dogs.

An old hotel, and it's very nice and kitchy. Good restaurant, staff is awesome, but know, it's over 100 years old and there are elements that are original Victorian things. So be prepared.

The hotel was beautiful. The lobby was decorated fitting for the holidays. I love the delicate details in the rooms we got. The beds were very comfortable - warm welcome after the long drive from Vegas. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Will definitely recommend and will book again.

A wonderful old hotel with an old school cafe and really good breakfast. Simple parking, and in the middle of town for eating and drinking options. The place is haunted for added flair.

Upon check in we were not greeted in a friendly fashion; apparently the receptionist was at the end of her shift. The request for a quiet room and higher floors was rejected although few guests staying over. The keys for our room were not “keyed” properly and did not open door to our room. The new receptionist on duty was surprised to learn neither key worked and was happy to provide working keys. Our room was well decorated and large. The bed was comfy along with the pillows. Although there were blackout shades in the room, the room remained quiet light due to very bright streetlights and made sleeping throughout the night very difficult. The renovation of the historic hotel is very impressive with the bar area and dining room quite nice. Overall we would gladly return as Tonopah is very interesting and the Mizpah is a nice landmark to the Golden Age of Nevada’s Silver Mining history

Just an awesome place to stay, so much history and whatnot. We love towns with history and this little place does not disappoint. You want flash head to Vegas or Reno. We will definitely be back.
