特魯埃爾旅館(Parador de Teruel)

Está bien, pero alejado de Teruel. No se puede ir andando a la ciudad, salvo que vayas por la carretera. La habitación muy bien. El servicio de cena un poco raro: las bebidas las sacaron confundidas, y los primeros platos también...

Nette kamer maar wat gedateerd. Restaurant is echt heel matig. Te duur voor wat er wordt geboddn.

Another Parador with all the merits of the chain: good beds, good bathrooms, helpful and professional staff, and good food. We have stayed in nearly 50, and this is certainly one of the most reliable ones. A really good solid place to stay, somewhere you can rely on. We were very pleased with all aspects of our visit to this hotel, from bedrooms to dinner and breakfast. A slight disadvantage, shared by many other Paradores, some of which, such as Lorca or Jaen, are poised on a mountain to above the town, is that you cannot walk into town. Not because it is on a mountain, but because it is outside the town, a 25- minute walk we were told. We asked to order a taxi, but they explained that Teruel is a small town, there are not many taxis, and it might be tricky to get one. We started the walk but soon gave up as it seemed dangerous due to a sudden lack of pavements as cars went whizzing past just feet away. So we went by car, always concerned about finding parking in a strange place, but found a carpark by the bus station which was fine.

Este parador está ubicado justo demasiado lejos del centro como para ir andando, pero si vas en coche hay buenos parkings bien situados. Un poco ruidoso por estar cerca de la carretera. Acogedores los salones y la cafetería, pero el restaurante tiene luz tan fria que parece que estás en una cocina. El horario de cena también es tardío para los extranjeros, deberían adelantarlo al menos media hora. Abren a las 8,30 y con la bebida, entretenimientos y tal , pedir un plato consistente a partir de las 9, resulta un lastre para la digestión. Pero lo que de verdad nos hizo no cenar allí, fue la luz incómodamente fría.

Volver al parador de Teruel es como volver a casa, el equipo de Dirección , recepción , y restauración es de la mayor profesionalidad que se puede encontrar hoy en día , te tratan con amabilidad y están pendientes de cualquier detalle , la limpieza es de primera y la cocina también , cabe destacar las carnes de la región y su jamón , hay mucha tranquilidad .Siempre que podamos haremos una escapada y la ciudad de Teruel bien merece una visita .

This is the second Parador I stayed in while in Spain. As it is another Parador, my review will be very similar to my review of another Parador I posted, because the pros and cons are the same. The hotel, a former palace, is just beautiful, with several very large common sitting rooms on the ground level. My room was great - large and comfortable, with a beautiful, updated, and well-appointed and well-functioning bathroom. There is a large stone veranda off the dining area on the ground level, which could be a wonderful place to sit for an drink outside. All that being said, here are the problems I have with this Parador in particular, and other Paradors (government-owned and -run hotels) in general: It is run like, and reminds me of, the old hotels I used to stay in the Soviet Union. The beautiful outdoor area was closed for no explicable reason. Not tables to sit at on a beautiful day when you want to be outside. The television (in both Paradors) didn't work. The bartender in the bar was overworked, doing two jobs from what I saw, and wasn't always at the bar to serve us. He was working alone, and had to work the bar and serve the diners in the dining room. Getting a drink was impossible. Dinner was in a beautiful, large dining room; but the lights - all the lights - were all turned up to a violently high level, so it was like eating in a warehouse. The server told me the lights couldn't be dimmed, they just turn on or off. The food service and presentation was better here than the other Parador, but not by much. Breakfast is not available until 8:00 am, so if you have an early departure, you can forget about breakfast or even coffee. Yes, you can't even get coffee until 8:00. It was clear that the hotel is understaffed and the ones that were working were doing double, even triple duty. I can't complain about them, I felt bad for their huge work load. They looked exhausted, but made an effort to be cheerful and helpful. The general feeling I had of the hotel was apathy for the guests and their needs. "Do just enough to keep the place running." Lastly, this hotel is not close to town. We were told it was a 30 minute walk, but it was more like 45 minutes. The hotel offers no shuttle service to the town and back. This hotel is beautiful and has so much potential. It could be a marvelous hotel with just a few changes and a little more effort. But like the USSR, attention to detail, servicing the guests and their needs beyond their room is non-existent.

Buscas limpieza has dado con el sitio, buscas buena comida has dado con el sitio, buscas tranquilidad has dado con el sitio quieres comer bien aquí lo conseguirás si deseas una cama donde dormir bien aquí la tienes el personal amable atento y diligente un sitio donde volver sin dudarlo recomendarlo cien por cien a quien te pueda preguntar

Limpio, amplio, elegante, cordial. Maravillosa estancia con mi marido y dos bebés gemelos de casi dos años. Pensábamos que iba a ser complicado por los gemelos, que podían estar desubicados. Sin embargo, estuvimos todos a gusto, en todos los espacios del Parador.

Parador de construcción moderna, rodeado de impresionantes cedros, pero demasiado alejado del centro histórico, tratándosede ina ciudad pequeña... Espacios amplios y cuidados. Habitaciones cómodas, con un buen baño. Servicio amable y atento.
