塔妙妮潛水度假村(Taveuni Dive Resort)

Das Resort ist für Taucher und Nichttaucher gleichermaßen geeignet. Das Resort hat eine sehr schöne, ruhige Lage auf der Garteninsel Taveuni an der Somosomo Strait. Überall im Resort grünt und blüht es! Der Pool am Restaurant ist besonders schön. Nach dem Tauchen ideal! Das Personal ist insgesamt sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist insgesamt hervorragend! Die Bungalows sind innen und außen wunderbar. Alles funktioniert und wird vom Personal täglich sauber gehalten. Tauchen am Rainbow Reef und Withewall war wunderschön. The Capital of Softcorals worldwide! All colours from blue to purple red! And light blue.

We had the best time here! we stayed for a week in November over Thanksgiving. We were treated like family. The dive resort is clean and well kept. Each burre is well appointed and all face the ocean. Having a private patio to sit on at night was great. Loved the spacious indoor shower and comfy bed. The dive attendants were all experienced in the dive sites and wonderful to spend the dive days with. The resort can also get you set up with other island activities if you would like to spend some time on land. Highly recommend doing a waterfall hike and if you are there during the holidays the hike to the crater lake to see the flowers is a must!! (it's a rough hike not for the faint of heart but totally worth it). Can't wait to return!

This beautiful garden island of Taveuni in Fiji is a sublime setting. The facility and staff attending it made our visit a pleasure. The dive guides were excellent. A month since our return home we are reflecting: the food made by Chef Laisa Francis and delivered to the table by the friendly staff was a high point of our stay at Taveuni Dive resort. Never in decades of scuba diving have we enjoyed meals of such distinct delicious flavor and artful presentation. Exquisite and exceptional. These meals were made with great skill abs heart. We will remember these meals all our lives.

Taveuni Dive Resort The staff were all very welcoming and accommodating. There seems to be a family feel among the staff which makes staying at the resort feel very comfortable. The food is excellent and they make an effort to accommodate special diets. The dive staff are phenomenal. We had Louie and we couldn’t have asked for a better dive master. They took care of all our needs, switching tanks over etc. The grounds are gorgeous. I loved the afternoon activities such as basket weaving and corn husking as you go to have a cultural experience without leaving the resort as you may be tuckered out from diving. If you are a snorkeler there is excellent snorkeling across the road in the area that the dive boats leave from. The resort is eco-minded and off the grid so there is no A/C but the fans and room cross breeze makes it it comfortable. I have no hesitation recommending this dive resort and would come back in a heartbeat. The only people who may not be happy are those who need internet in their room or if you want to party late into the night. There are enough photos of the resort on their website so I will share underwater videos.

My husband is an avid diver and I am not. We stayed in the very roomy and comfortable Cabbage Patch bure or bungalow for two weeks in October 2023. The resort is a "blue" resort and relies heavily on solar power, with Wi-Fi available and dependable in the dining area-which I needed, as I worked remotely during our stay. Per my husband, the diving was amazing (he is remarking on it on the Scuba Board) and I went snorkeling out on the boat and it was truly exceptional and well worth my time. The team here are the real jewels of the resort. Sure, there are gorgeous gardens, amazing ocean views, comfortable rooms and delicious and plentiful food...but the team is what makes this place truly special. The owners, Carl and Muriel could not be more organized, caring, or thoughtful. John from Bali-what a terrific person, full of information and great tips for things to do. Hal is the dive director and was incredibly knowledgable. All the staff were so friendly and went above an beyond daily: Tia, Tui, Kat Dolly, Emele, Eroni, and the dive team...I could go on. Be prepared for exceptional food, crab races, Kava ceremonies, coconut husking, garden tours, and easy coordination of taxis and excursions. We loved the Civa Pearl Farm and Claude is a wealth of information about the process. One tip: get Fijian dollars when you are in Nadi, as we were told that sometimes the ATM on the island runs out of cash on payday...we did not have any issues, but it would have saved us a stop on the way to the pearl farm. We hope to return someday, as I have never enjoyed a place more and I want another seafood pizza.

Me and my wife traveled here on our honeymoon! We were planning on coming here in Summer of 2020 but due to Covid it took us a few years to finally make it! Over that period I rescheduled more times than I can count and Jon was so very friendly and can say we developed a little bit of a friendship emailing back and forth for a few years. Really goes to show how friendly of a resort this is and just how friendly Fijians are! The resort was very wonderful overall. Total of 8 or 9 bures so only about 16 people max at time which was actually fun because we got to know the other guests pretty well. This is also a very dive focused resort and would not recommend staying here if you were not planning on diving. The diving is some of the very best though and this resort is about as close as it gets to the diving. The food was incredible. Hats off to the chef. Eroni was a great events host where we made coconut jewelry and drank cava and more.

Please understand, Fiji is Not Australia! Many places in Fiji offer a native aspect to the experience, it can be very laid back. Where Scuba is involved this PADI Instructor would prefer to dive with professionals, people who carefully plan my dives to keep me safe. Taveuni Dive meets all Western expectations while still being Fijian. Now, if you're looking for some of the world's BEST diving, a resort with fantastic rooms, hospitality plus ( & great food), this is the place.
