Wow! Beautiful room. Great bed. Friendly, super accommodating service by Robert and Jule who are hands-on and very available. Great home made breakfast. Robert bakes bread each night. Hot tub. Heated pool. This place is a jewel and we highly recommend it.

I have been coming here for a few years. The rooms are quaint and the owner is always making sure that everything is clean and works. The hot tub is very relaxing and the pool is so nice to sit around and relax. There is a nice grassy area to visit and sit with friends. The breakfast is always delicious! We had a great weekend here with a group of friends.

This place needs a lot of tender loving care and was an inch of dust behind the headboards the carpet is worn the sidewalks and driveway would not be great for someone who has trouble with mobility issues. The saving Grace was that the breakfast the very nice manager or owner made was delicious. Beds are mostly uncomfortable and we had spiders walk across our bedspreads. There was a dog in the woods behind our room that barked all night.

The Inn on the Rio is the perfect place to stay in Taos. Located on a beautiful country road within a healthy walking distance of the center of town, the inn enjoys a wonderful location. Rooms are beautifully kept and decorated with a creative Southwestern flair. Beds and baths are very comfortable and the breakfast is amazing. The heated pool surrounded by lounge chairs welcomed us each afternoon. Innkeeper Robert is a wealth of information about the area and is a gracious host. He runs a professional inn and gives warm personal attention to his guests. Highly recommended!

A comforting place to stay when visiting Taos. Robert, the host, is especially helpful and kind. I can't wait to go back. I especially liked the quietness, the view of the mountains, and the proximity to Taos. But I must not leave out the hearty breakfast.
