NO POOL, NOT ACCESSABLE, NO BREAKFAST, NO FRIG, NO ICEMAKER ON FLOOR, NOT FRIENDLY FOR PETS, EXPECT TO BE NICKLED AND DIMED.
I was very disappointed with the Westin especially for the cost of our stay; I feel ripped off. I asked for an accessible room because I have a bad knee. I ended up on the 7th floor, furthest away from the elevator. It took multiple trips to get our stuff from our vehicle in the garage. Then I went hunting for an ice maker and there wasn’t one on our floor nor a room frig so I ended up going shopping and having to fill a cooler then wheeled it from the garage to the 7th floor. There were notes in the room on water bottles for a charge and the coffee said after our two pods, others avail for a fee. The room wasn’t stocked with enough towels. I felt nickeled-and-dimed for the small room with no extras and sore from so much walking. We were put on a floor with banquets, meetings and food service. It was loud and seemed in appropriate. There wasn't a continental breakfast, another giant downer given the cost of the hotel. And I was sorely upset when we put our suits on and grabbed towels only to realize the facility didn't have a pool. They advertise that they're pet friendly. I saw people at the neighboring condos walking their dogs in designated areas. I can’t imagine someone bringing a pet to this facility given the building design, accessibility and there's nothing dedicated to pets; in other words, it’s not “friendly”.
