坦帕灣威斯汀酒店(The Westin Tampa Bay)

We had 3 room reservations. 2 of the 3 rooms were not clean, and we saw hairs and dirties on the sheet. We asked for quiet rooms on a higher floor, but the staff gave us 8th which is the first hotel floor (1-7th are garages), it was super noisy and all of us had a really bad sleep, the worst part was when the staff asks me how's the stay when check-out, I told her the cleaning issue, noise issues, and she was like ok / whatever / you are all set/have a nice day.

The rooms are dated, a little dingy, and my room had an odor upon arriving. Definitely not what I thought I was paying for. The meal I had at the restaurant was a waste of money. Shout out to the bar tender, the cocktails are great! Positives? It’s convenient to the airport and easy access to the interstate so you can get around town.

We only stayed for one night, but I had no complaints and would stay there again. The staff were very nice and our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and had great lighting for makeup. There was a nice walk-in glass shower and also a separate tub if you wanted to soak or had kiddos. My husband used the gym and thought that it was great. We had breakfast at Aqua and it was a nice, simple little buffet style. I did try to sit out on the beach area but it was colder and very windy so that didn't work out great, but by no fault of the hotel. I loved that there was a full Starbucks in the hotel, I could use/earn my stars and they had my regular drinks and food choices, as well as mobile ordering. We used Uber and it was easy and no one had issues finding us. We were very close to the airport which was nice for such a quick trip. The only potential negative was that there was no pool and the beach area is more for launching jet skis/paddle boards, so I'm not sure you could really do any swimming there. If I was staying in the summer, I'd probably be disappointed with no pool, but it was fine for our December trip.

The property has nice views, clean rooms and friendly staff. It was convenient location for the purpose we needed. The one thing we disliked was that no rooms has a refrigerator. Their description said that it includes a fridge however neither of the two rooms we booked had one. We requested a small fridge to be brough but they said they had none. The leftover food and charcuterie board we brought all went bad as a bag of ice wasn't helpful.

NO POOL, NOT ACCESSABLE, NO BREAKFAST, NO FRIG, NO ICEMAKER ON FLOOR, NOT FRIENDLY FOR PETS, EXPECT TO BE NICKLED AND DIMED. I was very disappointed with the Westin especially for the cost of our stay; I feel ripped off. I asked for an accessible room because I have a bad knee. I ended up on the 7th floor, furthest away from the elevator. It took multiple trips to get our stuff from our vehicle in the garage. Then I went hunting for an ice maker and there wasn’t one on our floor nor a room frig so I ended up going shopping and having to fill a cooler then wheeled it from the garage to the 7th floor. There were notes in the room on water bottles for a charge and the coffee said after our two pods, others avail for a fee. The room wasn’t stocked with enough towels. I felt nickeled-and-dimed for the small room with no extras and sore from so much walking. We were put on a floor with banquets, meetings and food service. It was loud and seemed in appropriate. There wasn't a continental breakfast, another giant downer given the cost of the hotel. And I was sorely upset when we put our suits on and grabbed towels only to realize the facility didn't have a pool. They advertise that they're pet friendly. I saw people at the neighboring condos walking their dogs in designated areas. I can’t imagine someone bringing a pet to this facility given the building design, accessibility and there's nothing dedicated to pets; in other words, it’s not “friendly”.

I’m not one to write reviews, but I was disappointed by our stay at the Westin. When we arrived, there was blood on the countertop as we checked in and when we went up to her room, there was also blood on the elevator walls. There was no refrigerator or ironing board in our room when I called down and asked, they said they’re not all rooms come with refrigerators, even though there is a spot for one it was taken out. They brought up the refrigerator to our room, but we never received ironing board after we asked the bedding was dirty. The hotel overall needs an update. It sounds like they were doing construction above us from 8 o’clock in the morning on. So overall, I was rather disappointed in our stay and I feel like they tarnished the Westin name.
