瑪格麗特維爾湖泰霍度假村(Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe)

We were on a romantic ski getaway. The hotel was newly and very nicely decorated especially if you like Jimmy Buffett and an island theme. Staff was extremely friendly and our room was spacious and nicely updated as well. It offered walking distance to many restaurants and was only about two blocks from the gondola. The only downside to our stay was the heater noise. It was clunky and too loud to sit and watch tv or hold a conversation without raising our voices. We ended up never using it and luckily, our room stayed warm enough that the heater was not necessary. However, it didn’t get below 25 degrees. In addition, the water pressure in the shower was low, however the water temperature was consistent and without any surges. Finally, while the room rate was fair, the additional $250 resort fees added after we had paid in full for what ********** stated included taxes and fees was a bit of a surprise. That said, given everything the hotel offers, would stay there again.

The staff was amazing. They were very friendly and always interacting with my kids in a very pleasant way. The down side: parking is valet only and you have to pay $30/day for that service. Also, there’s a resort fee of $45/ day plus tax. Steakhouse is overpriced and mediocre-but the staff in the steakhouse were absolutely amazing.

Hotel personnel were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel common areas and rooms were fresh and clean. The only issues we had were the valet and bell at check-in were overwhelmed and unsure. And, only 3 of 4 elevators were working most of the time and many of the up/down/arrival indicator lights were inoperative.

Excellent location, great and friendly staff, fun dining / bar option. We got a great deal for a suite, last minute, and it was perfect for our needs. Walkable to the Heavenly Gondola and village, comfortable room, good stay. Only problem was most elevators seemed not to be working, so frequently a wait.

The TV in our room didn't work and there was dried blood in the grout of the bathroom floor. We tried to call down but NO ONE picked up at concierge, guest services, valet, housekeeping. Only valet had a message and it said the mailbox was full. We were so disgusted and frustrated, we left early. Upon checkout, the lady checking me out said I should have called....when I told her that I had been trying, she said that I should have come downstairs. So, like the dried blood and non-working TV was MY fault.

The rooms were very large and nicely appointed. They had recently been remodeled. Great size for a traveling family. The main lobby however needs quite a bit of attention there were unfinished construction projects everywhere and the Bell service and valet were absolutely abysmal I'm starting to get home soon if you need to go closer

This hotel used to have different ownership, all the new group did was to remodel, increase the prices and no more breakfast included and no more free parking around it. They also do not have a microwave in the rooms anymore. We only stayed there because if the indoor pool and hot tub, otherwise not worth the high extra fees you have to pay for the valet plus all the tips at arrival and departure. But definitely the comfort is great. Rooms can get the noise of the singer till 9 ish pm.

Room was clean, check-in and check-out were fast, and staff were friendly and informative. Valet retrieved our car very fast and we appreciated knowing our vehicle was safe from theft and bears. The room was spacious and comfortable. There was some noise from the lobby at times, but nothing out of the norm and not disruptive. Odd that there is no fan in the bathroom and a microwave would be nice to complete the suite, but overall a very nice stay. Would definitely stay again in the future.
