南本德-巴黎聖母院麥客達套房酒店(Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham South Bend/at Notre Dame)

The property really needs to be updated. The bed was comfortable, however, the place seemed very run down and dirty. The shower curtain was disgusting so I never even took a shower. The staff was very friendly and did a good job. I expected more from a hotel affiliated with Wyndham. The place needs to be gutted and remodeled, especially for a room that cost $359 plus tax per night.

We were told this property was within walking distance of the stadium--over 2 miles is not in walking distance. The carpet and chair were extremely dirty--so much so that we wouldn't even sit in the chair. The property is in need of a make over---I would not recommend until that happens. There was a shuttle to the stadium--so that was a plus!

Very dirty nasty carpet through hallways and in room. We stayed 4 days everyday we left we told them they could clean now. Not once in 4 days did they clean our room. We had to go down and ask for towels and washcloths every day. Same pizza box trash propped against the broken down ice machine on our floor for 4 days. Don’t bother. They did apologize when we left and we told them. They were sorry the last three days too but no one did anything to show it!! Don’t even!!

Due to a ND football game, the advanced price for one room for two nights ran me over $500 / night. The hotel & room condition was so concerning I decided to check under the mattresses for bedbugs and found 2 syringes. I complained to the receptionist and she placed me into another room that was also in poor condition but no drug paraphernalia anyway. It was very obvious that the hotel is not being maintain properly by Wyndham. It rained that night and we woke up to a rain bucket in the main lobby catching water leaking through the roof... I have photos of these conditions. I would post these but they are not family-friendly...

Originally we had a reservation for 2 nights and we decided to come a day early so i called The hotel and was told no we don’t have an extra day this was just weeks beofre we arrived. We decided to come early anyway to take our chances on finding a hotel and ours was available for an extra night Check in was easy but our room was disgusting. Bugs(roaches) , soiled floor, base of the beds had stains , food or something stained on the walls,food on the floors, the padding that sits in the front window spiked with something, room smelled of an old bar. Told the front desk who was so nice and he apologized gave us email for owner so we emailed the owner still haven’t hear back from him or her. He showed us 2 more rooms we chose to stay in a room it seemed to be big free but all the rooms were dirty disgusting with the same description i mentioned Above Will never ever stay at this hotel ever again

Great location, next to campus. Fulfilled what we needed. But the faucet in tub leaked the whole time, loud AC, and very thin walls so heard everything in hallways. People at desk were super sincere and nice, especially gentleman who was working on 1 September in evening, circa 8pm.

Stayed a night for Notre Day move in. Looks fine on the outside and in the lobby, but carpets in hallways and rooms are filthy. Dripping faucet in tub (luckly drowned out by noisy AC) people slamming stairway door in the hallway until 3:00 a.m. Hair in the tub, broken safety door lock. Beds were fine and no bedbugs. People talking loudly in parking lot and smoking out there.

Checking in was fine but I get to my room and there are dead smeared bugs just about EVERYWHERE I look!! I called the front desk for a cleaning but went to the closet store to get cleaning products because I didn't feel comfortable. I found hair in the Jacuzzi tub and the shower. The TV programming was horrible!! NO DIVERSE PROGRAMMING WHATSOEVER!! Only diversity I saw was on commercials. I was at this hotel 3 years ago and to say it has gone downhill is an UNDERSTATEMENT!!! I tried to upload photos of the issues but this site wouldn't let me!

Quick checkin and really comfortable beds are the only positive thing I can say about this location. I called to confirm my reservation and it took 4 separate calls before someone answered the phone. The rooms were like stepping back in time. The lock on the door was broken and I felt extremely uncomfortable not being able to lock the door. The hotel felt like a local hangout spot vs a hotel. The staff was friendly but was surprised to find them hanging more outside or in the lobby than behind the counter. I will not stay here in the future nor recommend to family or friends.
