微風汽車旅館(Breeze Inn Motel)

Great hotel in Seward. Close to everything, including the cruise port. Multiple close restaurants!

This is Alaska and winter when I stayed here so it is what it is. Roads are ice, slush, and a mess, so it is loads of fun but that is at all properties. We used two rooms…… one had a wash rag that was hanging that was missed in the cleanup and meanwhile in the main hotel side, we met Jerry (the mouse) in lobby and again on the second floor. We could not find Tom. Maybe Tom should be there lol? Great value if you can laugh off those comments I made. Not the place for anyone ritzy.

It’s near the water and is walkable shopping and food. Winter so not much walking but a great place for comfortable sleep and hot shower. Our reception was kind of strange. She didn’t greet us and some how thought she was suppose to charge me when I was already prepaid with *******. But someone fixed it before the next day with out me needing to mention it. She was not mean just no smile or greeting so that was a bit off putting. But strangely right as I was about to go up to our room she started telling me all the things that we’re opened or closed for the winter. This non verbal or non pleasant greeting is not going to deter us from staying there again but I’m thinking she just might want to improve on that for her future paying guests , it makes it more comfortable all around in the long run of a stay. In my opinion of course.

The Breeze inn is in the harbor area of Seward, it is a great location for visiting Seward. The double beds seem to be long, fitting taller guests better. We discovered our door lock didn’t work very well, and in fact the locked door popped open on its own.

Second time staying here. It is not fancy but that’s okay. It was clean, safe and had hot water. The staff were very pleasant. Ate our meals at the Breeze Inn restaurant and every meal was delicious.

Everything was great! The staff were very attentive and we were able to use the on-site laundromat the day before leaving on our cruise which was great. There is also a hotel shuttle that took us to the Seward cruise terminal so we did not have to wait for the local complimentary shuttle. We would stay here again if we return to Seward.

The location is great. We can walk to all restaurants, our tour check in place and all gift shops. The harbor view room enhanced our experience. The room is a little bit limited and old. The road nearby the hotel is unpaved. Giving my suitcase a hard time. Overall I would say it is a good place to go if you want to say on Seward.
