墨菲斯阿拉斯加酒店(Murphy's Alaskan Inn)

The hotel was very plain, looked like an old motel six but it was safe and close to all the area attractions. This is Alaska where it stays light out late into the night and this place really needed black out curtains! They had an obnoxious outdoor lightbulb shining into our room all night! Our room was always illuminated!

This is a no-frills motel in Seward that is a place to stay when everywhere else is booked up.

Please do not ever book this hotel. You will realize after arriving at this property that there are no rooms available There is no Guarantee of your booking through **********. Seward Alaska is very small town and you won’t find any other available hotels/rooms. Book this hotel only if you are ready to sleep in the car. Happened to us in last week of June 2021. We were traveling with kids and had no where to go after Murphy’s staff told us there are no available rooms. Staff at front desk was extremely rude and not at all friendly.

We stayed on the second floor of the two-story unit and so had a fabulous view onto Resurrection Bay. The motel itself is well worn but serviceable: the bed and bedding far from new, the bathroom exhaust fan dirty and a bit loud, but overall a decent room at an OK price (for Alaska - be prepared for high rates everywhere if you are coming from the Lower 48).

We had a late check-in and was greeted by a very friendly staff member. This is a "motel" and is what we expected. Sort of outdated and worn but cozy none-the-less. Well worth price we paid to stay.

Old style motel. One floor with parking in front of room. Quiet location. Clean & neat. East check-in. Left key in Dropbox when leaving. Fridge & microwave.

This is a very basic motel. Adequately clean but no bells/whistles at all. The staff are very friendly. It was fine for an overnight stay. The beds are not very comfortable. VERY BASIC.

Very clean room. Very friendly service. We were totally happy.
