索蘇斯弗雷小屋(Sossusvlei Lodge)

Exzellente Lage kombiniert mit einem hervorragenden Service.

Sehr schöne große Lodge direkt am Eingang zum Sossusvlei-Park (Sossusvlei Gate). Die Bungalows verteilen sich sehr weiträumig und wir konnten morgens und Abends diverse Tiere von der Terrasse aus beobachten. Professioneller und freundlicher Service. Sehr gutes Essen mit großer Auswahl (Grill-Buffet).

Wir hatten Camping gebucht und in der Lodge. Mussten auf Grund von familiären Gründen die Buchung vorziehen. War nicht möglich, weder auf campground noch im Hotel ( ausgebucht) aber laut booking waren noch Zimmer frei. Nach vielen email hin und her und sehr langen Wartezeiten auf Antwort von der Taleni gruppe wurde unsere Buchung storniert mit Hinweis auf einen Tag vor buchungsdatum . Habe aber bereits Tage vorher um antworten wegen umbuchung gebeten. Bis heute keine Gutschrift über die bereits gezahlten Gebühren minus Storno Gebühren erhalten. Eigentlich waren wir frequent Customer der Lodge das ist aber auf Grund der Unfreundlichkeit und Unfähigkeit der buchungsassistenten erledigt. Keine Empfehlung von uns.

We stayed 2 nights and had two very nice chalets with a great view, we were also close enough to the outside lounge a pool area to pick up the WIFI (very important for some!). The lodge is quite big compared to others we stayed but the only time that was obvious was during breakfast which got a bit crowed and staff had issues replenishing the buffet in time. During the rest of the time you had plenty of loungers around the pool and other relaxation areas. Dinner offered plenty of choice (show cooking BBQ style) for both meat lovers and vegetarians. Table service for drinks was efficient. Staff in the rest of the hotel including the “activity” office were “OK” but the service was far below the standard we witnessed in other lodges, probably due to the size and the membership of a chain. This lodge has the unique advantage that it is located next to the entrance of the Park and hence is every convenient to visit the dunes early in the morning.

La lodge est tout confort et impeccable. La literie est très confortable. L'endroit est très calme. Les buffets sont variés. Par contre, il y avait très peu d'animaux présents autour du point d'eau. La piscine est agréable, mais il n'y a pas toujours assez de transats pour tout le monde. Nous avons eu droit à un souper dans le bush magique !!! tout un buffet rien qu'à nous deux, dans un décor féérique, illuminé de lanternes : fabuleux !
