夢想旅館-聖克魯斯(Dream Inn Santa Cruz)

No hot water in the shower and when mentioned to the staff the desk clerk just shrugged it off. Let me and my wife a little stunned. Other disappointments were only one chair on the balcony. When asking staff was told they would see what they could do. Broken shower faucet (fixed quickly by maintenance). Coffee bar offered $7 drip coffee out of a can??? Cleaning staff, maintenance guy and valet were exceptional.

The bed was the hardest bed I’ve ever slept on in my life. The shower tiles were slimy & looked like they had never been cleaned. The toilet ran all night. I tried calling the front desk multiple times but no one answered. This place is extremely over priced for what it is.

This was our second time staying at this property. Unfortunately, our second trip was not as memorable as our first trip. This last time there was something mechanically wrong with the toilet, and it kept filling up all night. We had also requested cleaning service multiple times, and nobody came. We also gave room service a try with the chocolate cake, we ordered two of them, and it tasted cold and old. Valet was on point.

During our stay, the heater made an insanely loud noise the entire night, and no one would come and fix it. Normally, I wouldn't mind not using a heater but it was in the low 40s when we stayed at the hotel so it was either a) freeze your butt off or b) have a terrible night of sleep. Unfortunately, we chose the latter. On top of that, the next morning at check-out we talked to an older lady and she was rude, stand-offish, and not at all helpful. In fact, she just kept interrupting me when I tried to tell her about the issues (other things I won't get into) in my room. I have a feeling she was the manager since employees looked like they kowtowed to her. In any case, I don't think I'll be staying here again.

It is a wonderful hotel. Close to wharf and every room has a view of the beach. So awesome. Walkable to every place even downtown.

The room was a pile for the amount & food was another over priced pile. Never ever visiting again!
