磯鷸旅館(Sandpiper Lodge - Santa Barbara)

We stayed this hotel for my son’s graduation Hotel are nice locations and clean good to stay this hotel

Overall the property was clean and enjoyable, staff was professional and pleasant. Huge issue....the homeless woman who was making a ruckus and a mess in the breakfast area. She was talking to herself and then swearing at guests and the imaginary people she was having conversations with. Guests started leaving and the poor hostess had to deal with the issue and mess. Wondering if this is why the breakfast is prepackaged muffins and cereal, and not the eggs and bacon as pictured.

We had a two-bedroom suite which was very spacious. Bathroom was clean but a bit outdated. Bedding left little to be desired. I was pretty cold both nights due to the very thin blankets on the bed and I couldn't get the heater in the back bedroom to work properly. Place is clean and quiet, staff friendly, and location good for us so overall we would stay there again.

Staff was very friendly. The room was clean. WiFi fell off al the time, which was frustrating. Breakfast was a joke, nothing like photos! Not a single hot food, just dry/sugary stuff, apples and drinks. Big disappointment.

Overall, Sandpiper Lodge is an affordable option in Santa Barbara. Unfortunately, the AC unit in my room made a very loud rattling sound all night long. My bad for not requesting another room. By the time I turned it on I had unpacked, showered and settled in for the night. I wasn't interested in packing up and asking for another room.

I appreciate that they have 2 bedroom rooms, perfect for families. Overall its clean, convenient, inexpensive, and friendly staff. Stayed more than once and will book again in the future.

When I showed up, even though prepaid, they charged me 50 bucks for “contingencies”. When I asked what the hell that is, he just waived his arms and said it would be credited back the next morning. When I went to check out they said “no” it was just a hold and it will go away”.
