A very special memory and trip spent at this perfect hotel, the courtyard with pool and bamboo trees was memorable, the room was very clean and next to 711 very close by, and the house was very convenient with amenities such as microwave fridge. Will take my family back if I have the chance.

Nice little hotel Very clean good service

This place was just awful. We paid $409 total for a one night stay in their 'updated' family room (the largest they have). It was pricey in part due to it being a Saturday night in October. This place is a dump. It had a single wall AC unit that was inadequate and couldn't push any air into the adjoining room with the third bed and kitchen. It has a crappy hard futon and they call it a bed. Had to open the windows but the neighbors were out til 1:30 in the morning - outside our windows smoking. They have a no smoking on the walkways policy but don't police. They were loud too. You can't always control awful guests, but this is the kind of crowd this place draws. When I informed the desk person in the morning she said they have a policy that guests can't smoke on the balconies. I told them it's a useless policy if they don't inform people of it. I recommend staying at a no-smoking facility. This place is an old, old motel. The pool was clean but it faces State Street. It would have been okay at $200/night - but at the price it was absurd. Would have been much better off at a Motel 6 with actual air-conditioning. These old facilities with walkways by your door that were cheaply constructed just convey so much noise. Our room was by the staircase so every person and their rolling luggage are literally 5 feet from your head through a single pane piece of glass while you are trying to sleep. Absolutely awful.

Beautiful little hotel, clean, comfortable rooms and beds. Helpful, friendly staff. Main parking lot is insufficient for hotel rooms available, but there is safe, additional parking behind the hotel so park there. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

The cost was deceptive. The total price was $100 more that we expected from the quote. The $100 deposit is stated on the site and although a bit excessive, was expected. The total price does not include the deposit, so the total that is eventually sent to you is the price you pay above the deposit. I have stayed here several times per year for at least 9 years and will NOT stay here again do to their new price practices.

The room was dated with some renovations. Check in was easy but the thermostat was broken and while we're packing up, we found a mask under the sheets of one of the beds.

It was so peaceful and beautiful, it really did feel like an oasis. The staff was very friendly. Even house keeping was nice and friendly. Even though it was a short stay it felt like a home away from home. Thanks, we will definitely be back!!!
