聖路易斯奧比斯保酒店(Inn at San Luis Obispo)

This little hotel is a great budget friendly option. My family stayed next door at La Quinta which is a very nice hotel but I couldn't really afford it. The beds are super comfortable and everything was clean enough. It probably could use a little updating. And the jacuzzi can maybe be fixed. And the pool could possibly be heated. But other than that it was just fine

The hotel was a lot older than what was pictured. The first night we were in the hotel a guest decided to have a concert in the parking lot with her truck at 1:30 am. Nobody from the hotel confronted her to turn down the music. My wife finally confronted the woman to turn off the music since everyone had their windows open to get some cool air.

TV remote only worked if in direct line with TV, and short distance. Only had a limited number of cable channels available even though you advertise cable. No written instructions on how to operate the TV, or how to find TV guide! Thermostat on wall was inoperative (no instructions on wall to access heating & cooling controls on unit) resulting in need (on hands and knees under shelf) to adjust heating & a/c; notation on a/c "use thermostat on wall". Had no chair at desk area, had to request one (only one chair in room). Large puddle under phone (perhaps from cleaning). Loose shower hot & cold handle difficult to adjust and find hot water. Inexpensive coffee maker -- no hot plate to keep coffee warm.

TV stand was barely holding together and was constantly pitching forward due to inappropriate installation Shower floor, by drain, felt hollow and gave you the feeling it could give any moment. HVAC was a potable unit that provided no real heat.

Okay repairs needed in that Ritz area that am paying for. The air conditioner wouldn't shut off . I had to get on my k ees too unplug it. The closet doors busted couldn't get in or out. The window in the bathroom wouldn't close , crank window broken. Reported all this to mangentment. Used a website for booking , for that I could of stayed at a Motel 6 . "My biggest complaint the TV " when it came time to relax the remote control, Literally had to use my thumb to scroll channels. No TV ! No movies channels what so ever. All sports and religion channels I was pist. You can't punch a channel number. Did anyone else experience this??

Everything was perfect: clean rooms, comfortable mattresses, quality of the sheets, good location, room utensils, good hot/cold system. easy and free parking. Good location. The only thing to comment is that check out is at 11 and at 10:50 the cleaning staff came to knock on the door several times before the time, too insistent, he should have waited until 11 which was the check out time , not before and warning once was enough since after 5 minutes he insisted again before the check out time. Otherwise I recommend it and would stay again.

We ended up having to stay the night in slow at the last minute due to a flight delay. The property was inexpensive and inconvenient. It's definitely not a high-end hotel but if you need a place to sleep and you don't wanna spend a lot of money it's a great option.

The property is close and convenient for food and local areas of interest. However, the property itself was less than expected. The rooms were clean but outdated and the overall feeling was of a property that the owners did not keep at a very high standard. It had a somewhat run down feeling. Staff was good and overall it was an OK place if you were just looking for a one night place with the standard facilities, but not a place I would stay if I were vacationing.

Property and rooms are very dated and needs a renovation. Our room had an awful odor. Positive propery is in a good location to downtown and Cal Poly.
