The Motel Place was very okay. The Location was also good/okay.

The staff was great super nice and helpful. Only complaint is the cleanliness of the room. Just minor things but for the price you pay it should be kept up a lot better than it was. I’m not one to bash any establishment but they gotta do better when it comes to cleaning rooms. Not going to go into detail because it would take too long.

The bed was too small for 2 people, asked for a change but they had no room available, which was surprisingly available early next morning! Despite the usual low price, the hotel is severely overpriced for the non-existent service. Poor unclean floors, no housekeeping in our stay of 3 nights (even though I requested and they assured will give), it does not make sense at all.

The place was very clean and comfortable. Very close by to SLO and needed an inexpensive place to stay during move-in. They didn't provide shampoo and conditioner or clean our rooms each day so had to go down to the front desk to get it. But that is fine because considering the price, I was fine with that. My husband did find a little bug burrowing in the toilet paper but other than that it was perfect. The double beds were actually big enough to fit all 4 members of my family. Just wish they had a little night light instead of having to leave the bathroom fan all night to have light.

Above average for a Motel 6. Clean room. Enough towels. Check-in was smooth. The desk clerk was friendly and offered our choice of rooms. We asked for extra pillows and he brought them to us. Negatives were no hair dryer and no in-room coffee pot.

During day homeless walking through parking at night well lighted seemed safe . You have space to raise the fridge on a pedestal vs bending over for floor level shelf - a perceived perk and upgrade. Middle of bed longitudinally deep lump but able to sleep ok . Not allot of device plugs and bed light switch too far to reach while lying in bed. Too quiet vent in BR hard to tell od circulating but mirrows did not fog now that i recall and bery unique reverse shower step in and shower behind you so shower handle should be placed closer to entry point not in middle and farthest reach the adjusting temp staning outside or shower … all in alll good location and fair value. Would do it again. Nice blackout curtains and noise from 242 good controlled

We were excited to be able to check in early for our room, as we arrived a couple hours earlier than expected. The front desk staff were friendly. For being close to the highway, the property was surprisingly quiet. Our room and the pool were both very clean. The only issues we had were with the bedside lightswitches not working and the tv remote not working. We didn’t notify staff - I’m sure they would have helped! Overall a good room for the price.

One front desk staff member was awesome! Sorry that I didn't get his name. But there were service issues, primarily with cleaning services, which were promised for every 3rd day of our 8-day stay, but not received as promised: By the afternoon of the 3rd day, there had been no service, so we asked the front desk to send someone to clean and service the room, which they did. On the 4th day, someone knocked and offered to clean again, which we refused as we'd just had it done the afternoon prior. On the 6th morning, we proactively confirmed with the front desk that a cleaner would come that day. We returned in the evening and saw no service! We had to get towels, TP and take out the trash ourselves. When ******* called on my behalf to follow up, the person they spoke with denied the cleaning issue, even though the staff member I spoke with during our stay said he made notes about it. So either the notes weren't clear, or the other staff member simply chose to deny any wrongdoing. Overall, very frustrating and made our stay with Motel 6 much less pleasant. Otherwise, the property and room was in decent shape, and the front desk staff did a good job trying to fix issues. One night a very loud party was taking place, and the staff successfully shut it down.

Staff was very nice and responsive. Room reaked of ****. Thought smell would dissipate. It did not. Promised room service on third day.......did not occur. Staff offered to move us......we declined.(Too big of a hassel moving dog crate etc) Floors were dirty......I mean walk bare foot and your feet were black...dirty. Neighbors were loud first night (management has no control over this) Good location for central coast vacation.
