One front desk staff member was awesome! Sorry that I didn't get his name.
But there were service issues, primarily with cleaning services, which were promised for every 3rd day of our 8-day stay, but not received as promised: By the afternoon of the 3rd day, there had been no service, so we asked the front desk to send someone to clean and service the room, which they did. On the 4th day, someone knocked and offered to clean again, which we refused as we'd just had it done the afternoon prior. On the 6th morning, we proactively confirmed with the front desk that a cleaner would come that day. We returned in the evening and saw no service! We had to get towels, TP and take out the trash ourselves.
When ******* called on my behalf to follow up, the person they spoke with denied the cleaning issue, even though the staff member I spoke with during our stay said he made notes about it. So either the notes weren't clear, or the other staff member simply chose to deny any wrongdoing. Overall, very frustrating and made our stay with Motel 6 much less pleasant.
Otherwise, the property and room was in decent shape, and the front desk staff did a good job trying to fix issues. One night a very loud party was taking place, and the staff successfully shut it down.
