索爾茲伯裏速8酒店(Super 8 by Wyndham Salisbury)

When we first arrived we were given a room that someone else occupied and when we told him that someone was already in that room they said no one was and it came to me that somebody was they ended up putting me across the hall from the room that they gave me but overall I like the room

Took 3 tries to get into a room. First room had someone staying in it already, second didn't have heat or ac, and the third didn't have a jacuzzi.

Was scared to stay after reading reviews. But was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Clean and well run didnt have any issues with our stay.

door slaming at night from the back of the building, smells of pot in the halls and the room smelt of such a strong oder of disenfectant that we could not sleep

***** all over parking lots and ash trays- bricks holding doors open all hours with no security and it was more like a half way house then the rooms are grossly dirty - we had insects (bugs) in coffee pot yuk and overpriced is an understatement- I am baffled that ********** would even list this property- worse part every hotel was booked because of the motorcycle rally so there was no where else to go - we slept in our truck one night then got a room at another WAY BETTER place after the event was over - I will be calling to get a refuncd when I get home

This facility was less than expected. It has maintained an old appearance and is not as pleasant-looking as other hotels. It is not modern. In fact, it was not well kept in my opinion. Old furniture, room floors were scratched badly, leaky water came from the shower, limited electrical outlets that did not provide enough current, inoperative lamps making it dingy in the room, no screen curtains (I forgot what you call them) , and lastly, the shower did not empty down the drain quickly leaving me standing in water. Ugh!!

I don’t expect a lot from places like this for the included breakfast BUT this was the worst one ever(40yrs of travel). Hardly anything to pick from and we were there at 6:15a right after it started. Pretty sure we were the first ones both mornings. Asked the help if they had anything else….no.

They are remodeling working late into evening and the halls, etc were dirtier then should be even with the work. Updated to suite. But furniture was old and broke and dirty, but whirlpool worked great and was nice. Quiet after workers stopped. Good housekeeping with respect to room. Location good.

The hotel is in terrible condition and generally run-down and dirty. There is no elevator in this two-story hotel, so we had to carry heavy suitcases up the stairs. And the one staircase the railing was popping out of the wall (see photo). But easily the worst part of the stay is the $100 cash deposit required of every guest. When I asked the attendant why there was a cash policy, she couldn't answer me. We needed a place to sleep, so I paid the $100 cash deposit. The next morning I go to check out, and they just hand me back the $100. They didn't go check to see if I caused any damage in the room or anything. They help my $100 in cash in an envelope behind the desk for about 11 hours, and that was is it. And there was no mention of a "cash deposit" policy here on Hotels dot com. I will never stay at this hotel again, and likely won't ever look at a Super 8 hotel again.
