Amazing location and classic design of the hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Perfect location to enjoy St. Paul and the close concert venues. Valet and check-in service was superb. Room was spacious and clean, and we loved the historical vibe. The bar has fantastic drinks, food and service. Highly recommend!

What a special place the St. Paul is!!! Friendly, accommodating staff in a charming setting and great location. We also loved the service, food, and ambience of the hotel restaurant. The only thing to be aware of is that the fridge is small and there is no microwave in the room but the staff is accommodating to bring you one for a $12 feel so it wasn’t a big deal. We will definitely be staying there again!

We have stayed here several times over the years. We stay when we go to the Ordway or to a game. We used to enjoy going to the grill and bar after an event but last couple times when event is over they are not serving anymore or last call. There are not many alternative options in the area.

Great hotel! Wonderful lobby, rooms. Two constructive criticisms: valet parking operation needs some attention. Guests should be hurded and managed so people unloading are pulled to side and flow of traffic can continue. Also, we should not be told we have to wait 10 minutes to get a table for brunch when the dining room is more than half empty.

I think, for an older hotel, it can be great to have a charming place, or a friendly place, or a renovated place… but if the front desk staff border on surly and the room is a little worn out and the shower head is under six feet high… then it’s not worth $200 when one can stay for 60% that price a block away.

My wife and i stayed at the St. Paul for four days. We looked for someplace different having seen a bunch of places on-line that looked fine but all the rooms looked like something out of an Ikea catalog. The St. Paul is unique having been built in 1914. All the staff were quite nice yand the breafasts were delicious.

Older front desk guy was cold and unfriendly. The bathroom floor was sticky and smelled of urine. Oh, and they double charged me for valet, $70 instead of $35, as well as charging my credit card $300 for mini bar items when I didn't take a single thing from the mini bar. I liked the location. I enjoyed the evening and the concert I went to, but I must express my extreme disappoin**ent with this snobby hoity toity incompetent property.
