奧弗蘭德家園汽車旅館(Overlander Homestead Motel)

We loved the whole experience of staying at the Overlander. The room although quaint had everything we needed for a comfortable stay of two nights. It was especially good to find that the restaurant was not only on site but had an excellent menu and helpful friendly staff. We had a long detour from Carnarvon Gorge as the roads were flooded and it was lovely to be welcomed into such a homely atmosphere. The only problem we had was finding the motel! The SatNav took us into central Roma and we had to ask directions from there.

Beautiful family room, best accommodation on our 2,500 km trip. Hospitality was first class, friendly and courteous reception staff. Beds were luxurious and super comfy. And we had a fabulous storm to watch in the evening.

Friendly and very homely. Easy carparking for larger vehicles and very convenient from highway. Perfect hotel for the long distance traveler.

Went to pay my account for overnight stay and on way to reception the owner’s 4 sausage dogs ran at me and at least one bit me on the leg. Owner gave me cream and tissues for the wounds and then charged me $179 ! No offer of a discount which I thought would be reasonable just said “sorry she has little puppies” Not a good experience and needless to say I won’t be going back to the Overlander Motel in Roma.

Overnight stop on our road trip inland and greeted by the real bosses - the dachshunds. The beds were sooo good, huge king size and vey comfortable. The bathrooms have the most amazing shower with the vintage sinks and vanities Basic facilities in the room including kettle, microwave and utensils etc. The restaurant on site has a fantastic variety with great tasting food. The wait time was a little long but once the meals came, couldn’t really fault them.

Great place to stay when visiting Roma. Highly recommend the on site restaurant. Excellent service.

Fantastic place. Excellent rooms, top restaurant, and service. Quality products, good parking, & exceeds in all the usual areas. The best part of staying here though is the owners. What legends. Made us feel at home: welcoming, positive, hilarious, helpful, kind, & decent. Amanda & Charles: thank you. We will be back!

Stayed overnight on our way up the Great Inland Way. Room felt luxurious, very well appointed with King size very comfy bed, we also ate in the restaurant onsite and would highly recommend. We were worried about taking our young children but staff made us feel very welcome and they offered a two course kids meal with a drink that was well priced. Would stay again.

This place is worth staying for the carriages Restaurant. The food was so Delicious , lots of choice, well presented, staff friendly, service excellent. Room Ordinary, Bed comfy, shower good. No plates or cutlery, would have been useful.
