益精莊園賓館(Excelsior Manor Guesthouse)

Dieses alte Weingut mit seinem Gästehaus ist immer wieder schön. Schöne Zimmer mit antiken Stücken dekoriert und ein hervorragendes Essen laden zum genießen und entspannen ein. Nicht zu vergessen sind die Topweine, welche man bei einer Weinprobe, oder beim Dinner probieren sollte. Wir waren bereits zum 3. MAl hier und werden hoffentlich auch nochmal wieder kommen. Empfehlenswert ist ein Ausflug in die Weinfelder mit dem Golfcaddy. Tolle Ausblicke garantiert.

Sehr herzlicher Empfang durch Kirstin. Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Zimmer und fühlten uns in frühere Zeiten versetzt. Zum Abend hatten wir jeweils ein köstliches 3-Gänge-Menü incl. Wein, das im Hause angeboten wird. Von James wurden wir sowohl am Abend als auch tagsüber am Pool mit Getränken verwöhnt. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und wurde auf der Poolterasse serviert. Eine Weinprobe des Weingutes war inclusive und am Ende durfte man sich einen eigenen 'Blend' mischen und abfüllen und das eigene Label für die Flasche erstllen. Ein sehr schönes Erlebnis

Excelsior Manor Guesthouse is a fabulous place to stay. It is a perfect place to stay, there is plenty to do in the area, the accommodation and food is brilliant and the staff are just amazing. We will definitely be back again next year.

We had the best time on our wine walk. Kirsten and her team were phenomenal and made the experience extra special. The food and the wine were fantastic and Jaco was a great guide on our walks between the wine farms. Special shout out to the lovely James who took such good care of us every evening. Highly recommend this experience!

Spent two wonderful days and nights at the Manor House on the Excelsior Estate. Our room was very spacious, and was furnished tastefully with period furniture from around the world. The food and hospitality including complimentary wine with dinner was a fantastic bonus, and both Kirstin and James providing a friendly and impeccable professional service. We used the Golf Buggy that was made available to guests to explore the Estate and thoroughly enjoyed the wine blending and wine tasting activities. Look forward to returning in the future.

Wonderful staff so friendly & warming. Excellent food. Stunning setting. So much to see & do in the area Steeped in history. Places closed on Sundays A hotel you can keep going back . Adult hotel not for kiddies. You can also do wine tasting

Excelsior Manor Guesthouse is a home from home. You are pampered from the moment you arrive by your hosts Kristin, James and Michelle. Nothing is too much. The guesthouse is on a beautiful wine farm. It is the most relaxing break one can have. We have returned many times and sincerely hope to return many more. The area around the guesthouse has so much on offer as well. Many wineries, an olive farm, lavender farm, wonderful farm stalls, river cruise etc. Saying that, the best time can also just be spent lying on a deck chair reading a book by the beautiful Excelsior pool.

Our favourite place to "get away" to. Kirsten is a brilliant hostess and James is the greatest concierge ever. Its so nice to hear all the foreign accents of the guests. We are Cape Town (Weskus) locals, and its always such a treat to come here.

Excelsior Manor is part of a small family run winery. Managed extremely well by Kirsten with capable support from Michele. In addition is James who appears after lunch serving drinks around the pool but continues to look after guests at dinner in the evening. As you can well imagine the wines served with the meal are first class, especially the Viognier. The accommodation provided is steeped in history with an emphasis on the De Wit family's love of race horses. The rooms have an endearing quaintness to them with some lovely touches included such as a lovely sweet "pudding" wine to welcome you on arrival along with biscotti biscuits. There are plenty of nearby walks through their own and neighbouring vineyards that gives you the opportunity of tasting the wines - well, someone has got to do it!
