達拉斯理查森萬麗酒店(Renaissance Dallas Richardson Hotel)

Unknown to us when we booked, there was a very inappropriate adult conference at this place during our stay. We are so glad we did not have our kids for the weekend because the things we saw were downright offensive. We will never stay at this hotel again because I refuse to pay money to a place that supports garbage like this in a place where non-conference goers, including families are also staying.

We did not end up staying at this hotel. We were not even able to get to our room. There is only one set of elevators, 2 we’re not working. We waited about 20-30 minutes to try and get to our room, but never made it. I told the guy that checked me in twice. The first time he told me I was wrong that the elevators were working but did not check. He then offered the stairs, our room was on the 10th floor. Was he serious? The second time I told told him that the elevators were out he actually seemed to go check. My husband & I needed to leave, we had dinner reservations and would be almost late if we waited ably longer on the elevators. When my husband and I come into town, we will not be choosing this hotel.

My immediate gripe is the $15 a day for parking in an empty garage in the middle of suburban nowhere (one restaurant nearby, no shopping) dont charge for parking in the 'burbs please, its tacky. Hotel garages come in two forms, either a convenient amenity for their guests, or an opportunity for gratuitous gouging. Everything else about the hotel itself is fine, so 4 stars seems fair.

This was a beautiful property, however the additional charge for Internet use is a little bit outdated and ridiculous. The night we checked in and there was a convention, so parking was nearly impossible (WHICH SUCKS after a 15 Hour drive). It took the better part of 35 minutes just to park and check in, and then I was charged $15 for parking After check out. The air conditioning in our room did not work, and we spent most of our night with the hallway door propped open, as we didn't return to our room until almost midnight, and we're just too exhausted to trade rooms. I do not believe this room was a good value. The person who greeted us at check-in seemed less than thrilled, Gave us zero information about the hotel or its amenities. There was nothing in the room to give information about on site amenities either. (Including check out time- i had to call the front desk and ask) Also, for people with mobility issues, please note that the bathroom floors are incredibly slippery in the humidity. You will definitely need to throw towels on the floor if Nana is walking around. It was a beautiful hotel, we had a beautiful view, but I would not stay here again at the price point we paid.

Always a pleasure staying here me and my family been coming here for over 15yrs. Miss the water park outside. Love coming here fall winter and if it’s too hot in the summer for the indoor pool and jacuzzi

The stay was good but when I called room service and asked for extra blankets.. I had to call again 1 hour later to remind them.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. The only issue we really had was the air conditioner. It made a loud banging noise when it would idke and it woke us up a few times

We had a great stay at the Renaissance Hotel in Richardson- the staff was kind and accommodating. The rooms were clean and spacious. We will be back!
