冰屋度假酒店(Glacier House Hotel & Resort)

Very nice hotel in a very quiet remote area. Unfortunately the rests was closed which we had not anticipated. Having been on the road all day, we were looking forward to dinner at the property. Had to drive back down into the town. Also, the safe in the room is a “nice to have”, but it sits on the floor under a table! Not sure how you get to it without getting down on your hands and knees!

Le resto n’était pas ouvert et le hot tub était en réparation malheureusement. Cependant on est à max 10 min de la ville en voiture donc on a pu bien manger à proximité

My stay was fantastic! It’s peaceful and staff are friendly. I recommend this hotel for families and have pets.

Property is maintained substandard. No A/C in our rooms when we paid $250/ night. Got 2 table fans which were a joke. When asked why there is mo A/C we were told that it gets cold at night. Could not open our windows as there were so many bugs. We were not offered to change our rooms when clearly we were unhappy. I will never ever recommend this place to anyone. Regardless of so much wood lying around, there is no fire pit. What a joke.

There were so many issues with this property. They were at max capacity so there was not hot water in the night or morning for showers. The pool was so dirty clumps of hair were floating in it and the bubbles and dirt in the hot tub were overflowing. A restaurant was advertised but when we got there it had been closed for months we were told. It would cost $20 to have food delivered to this location or we had to drive 40 mins to get dinner. With 3 year old twins this was a nightmare and the fee charged was so much more than appropriate for the accommodation we received.

We did not ending up staying at this property due to delays caused by the BC wildfires. It looked like it would have been an enjoyable stay. We were refused a refund which is our only disappointment with this property. They did follow their policy as presented but it was disappointing none the less.

We stayed at Glacier House Resort for one night. There was a bit of confusion with our reservation and the staff and manager were not helpful at all. I found them to lack customer service.

Very comfortable large rooms , nice pool and hot tub. Beautiful location and views
