黑色公雞賓館(Black Rooster Guesthouse)

We really loved our stay. The room was clean and stylish. The manager was kind and helpful. I enjoyed the neighbourhood. Some of the old houses are being returned to their former glory. Some not. They provide a glimpse of what life is like in Prince Rupert. The guest house buildings are funky and clean and well decorated. The original building was a hostel previously to give you and idea of the vibe. It’s not the Four Seasons so, if that is what you are after, you should go somewhere else. But for clean and cool and fun I recommend this place.

I stayed in a comfort studio. It was modern, nicely furnished, self contained with fridge, kitchenette, ensuite bathroom. Very pleasant room and lobby. Check in and checkout was easy, with friendly staff. NB: pet friendly means dogs only. They were really nice about my kitty though.

Our arrival on the Port Hardy ferry was later than we expected so the owner had to wait up for us till after 1 am. We rented the 4 bedroom apartment which was actually a whole house. The bedrooms were large and each had an ensuite bathroom. Be sure to keep your bed room key with you as the door locks if you close it. The common area and kitchen and dining room were on the main floor. Laundry was available on the main floor. The kitchen was equipped with many wine glasses but few drinking glasses or mugs which meant putting the dishwasher on even if it wasn’t full. The bathroom on the main floor did not have hand soap or a towel which was a little inconvenient. Windows in the bedrooms and bathrooms open but there was a fair amount of street traffic. Overall, the owner was friendly and accommodating.

Great place to stay of fishing from Prince Rupert or catching the ferry with a family or group of friends. Has basic necessities available and is in quiet area

The suite was clean but very dated. Several things didnt work, such as the clock's. Very close to the road, so a bit loud but the 2 bedroom option worked well for our needs.

Dirty dishes, lights not working, broken furnature - not terrible but off-putting

Good for young couples, great price for a beautiful room and very neat

Ive stayed there at two different times in two different rooms and i love them both! Very worth the price and very perfect place to rent

Spacious and clean 1 bedroom apartment with well equip kitchen, good wifi, lighting, washroom and comfortable bed. Laundry facilities are available as as well for $2 wash including detergent and $3 dry. We had a lower unit and there was a little noise upstairs but it didn’t last long so we didn’t mind. Your just outside the main bustle of Prince Rupert but walkable within 10-15 mins. Overall a nice comfortable place.
