Check in was long, front desk staff friendly. The BW Marquis is dated and in need of either tearing it down and starting over or a MAJOR update. We checked in, the desk chair broken so sitting with my chin on the desk..no other chairs available so they brought one from the lobby. The rugs were filthy, bed mattress not sitting right on the bed, after a shower in the morning the ?smoke? alarm stated alarming..continuously. Called the front desk, went to the desk..No Maintenance people on the weekend..perhaps you can try and reset it the said to my 75 year old husband. He is up on a chair trying to silence. Not..They only agreed to change our room after about two hours with no solution. We loaded up and moved down the hall..one load at a time as no trollies available. New room, fridge not working, call the desk..They came pulled it out, water all over the floor from the fridge. Using the towels etc from the room to mop it up...No replacement face cloths, ever..tried at the front desk several times. Will not stay here again.
