Motel 6 Prairie du Chien, WI

I called to ask if a set of keys was left in the room and was immediately attacked by the person on the phone claiming the room had been damaged and drug paraphernalia was found and therefore, I was billed an xtra charge for this. I explained that I had worked in the hotel business and had cleaned the room and even *****ped the bedding. The shower had not even been used and they had minimal cleaning to do. Then she went on to say that drug paraphernalia had been left in the room and I argued with her that was untrue, but she just belittled me. They were prescription meds and they claimed they turned them into the police, and I didn't even realize they were left behind at this point. When I reached out to management the next morning and tried getting charges for damage removed and explained that I had cleaned the room and all claims were false, she then claimed the room had been smoked in and so she would not reverse the charge. This was also false but at this point I knew that nothing I said was going to matter. I retired from a hotel, and I had never witnessed such mistreatment in my career or by any other hotel that I have stayed in over the years.
