Amazing staffs and bedroom with Seaview is breath-taking

A great hotel. Great location on the Marine Drive. The only problem was the service in the Veranda restuarant which was very bad Otherwise a n enjoyable stay.

Very nice holiday

Nice place in PE

We stayed two nights in this well positioned hotel. The overall appearance is of a tired once better establishment but it was more than adequate. Ginger restaurant is excellent and great value for money which is good as I would not recommend walking too far from the hotel at night, which is a sad indictment of SA generally at the moment particularly of the Eastern cape. Staff in the hotel were friendly and professional and our room was very clean with views across the main road to the sea.

Lovely hotel with excellent staff situated right opposite the ocean. Our room was large and airy and everything worked as it should. Breakfast was excellent and again staff were superb. Only negative part was the dinner. Out starter was over 45 minutes in coming and when we asked about it they brought the main course. Obviously an error somewhere. The food was ok not great.

The reception and bar look lovely and that is where it ends. We had lunch and breakfast there m, it was ok. The outside needs a coat of paint and so does the inside. They showed us to our room. I then googled what we paid for and this was the basic room. Back to reception and we waited to another room was ready. It was more than double the size. It desperately needed painting and updating. Towels where well worn and furniture old. The terrace was broken with bits of tiles everywhere. The pool was dirty. The tiles broken and a sewage smell. There was lots of noise from the road and bars. There was nothing to do in the town we only stayed for the airport and that was a mistake. Avoid they have really let this get run down.

Sulla carta le aspettative erano ben diverse ma appena arrivati in hotel il benvenuto è stato una puzza di cibo che permeava in tutte le aree comuni dell’hotel sicuramente proveniente dal proprio ristorante. Davvero nauseabondo! La camera era molto grande e spaziosa con un piccolo salottino ed un balconcino vista piscina però a mio avviso non era ben pulita. C’erano macchie e aloni un po’ ovunque su tutti i mobili. In bagno poi, finita la doccia, con il vetro ancora appannato si vedevano macchie ovunque segno proprio di una scarsa pulizia. Non posso giudicare la colazione perché abbiamo lasciato la camera al mattino presto dove però ci hanno preparato una piccola breakfast box d’asporto. La zona in fine non è delle migliori (non so se proprio tutta Port Elizabeth sia così), volevamo andare a piedi ad un ristorante ad un km di distanza sempre sul lungomare ma stesso dalla reception mi hanno sconsigliato di andarci a piedi ma in auto o con un uber. Insomma, per fortuna che sono stato una sola notte ma è un soggiorno da dimenticare.

We chose this hotel due to an early flight. Close to the airport and easy to get to. Rooms were spacious, modern, and clean. Strong Wi-Fi. 3 options for dining. We chose the more formal restaurant. Still very affordable and good food. We had a drink in the bar. Lovely server and hostess. Highly recommend for a one night stay.
